    Thanks for the great info. I'm installing the same model later today. This not-so-handyman will now be able to do it with confidence.

    Another great video... I watched your dryer video. You definitely are making my install much easier, because I just purchased the exact same washer /dryer set and just finished installing the dryer. Now for the washer! Thanks for the help!!!

    I have the WM4000HBA, had it for a month, one thing I’ve noticed is suds coming out the air vent on the back of the washer. It only happens when using liquid detergent if I use pods it’s fine. I googled it and said I was adding to much detergent added less and still happened. If the issue continues I’ll be contacting lg for customer service.

      perhaps your previous machine was not rinsing properly and there was suds in the clothing still?

    I have the #WM3900HBA the Tide Pods suds a lot if the load is to small. It can cause suds lock which you dont want so I just avoid them but other than that I'm loving my machine.

    Thanks so much for the video. Quick question. The guys that installed my machine didn’t use the u shaped bracket and put the hose in the drain way too far. So I am trying to fix it. When the hose comes out near yhe bottom of the machine do I just run it to the drain (ours is in the wall) and zip tie it. They never detached it from shipping so it’s running up and around the machine first. Thanks for your time.

    That old Frigidaire definitely looks like it was made by LG... which is interesting because Electrolux now owns Frigidaire, and Electrolux make their own front load washers.. was that one from before the Electrolux acquisition?

    Hello, excellent video. Can you tell me what type of thread the water supply thread is? millimeters or inches, to adapt it, I am from Argentina and the metric is different here. thank you so much

    FYI - the normal cycle is the cycle the government bases energy regulations on on most washers because they know that's what most people use... In other words... the normal cycle is basically the eco cycle...which is the most stingy with water/energy... so I try to avoid normal unless I'm washing something that isn't very dirty....and I would always use extra rinse...there's an extra rinse button... otherwise I think with some cycles you only get ONE rinse...unless you chose extra rinses...I think you can choose up to five if you want... but probably not that many is needed.

    7 years ago, a friend gifted me my first LG appliance. Today, this LG washer began showing an LE error code and they want to charge me $350 to “service” it to see if they can fix it… I will simply replace it with the old washer that worked just fine…

      You should fix the LG. The le error is a pretty DIY job and definitely isn’t worth 350 dollars

    I bought a front load LG washer 2 years ago. The motor broke. I have a 10 year warranty. LG sent the motor but no drum. We called them again. Then they sent a broken drum. We called again. They sent a second broken drum. Then a third time. Another broken drum. We have been doing laundry at the laundromat for almost 2 months now. They said the 4th drum would absolutely be delivered today. Nope. The level of incompetence at this company surpasses anything I have encountered. Do NOT buy LG products!
    Update 02/27/2023 The 4th drum did arrive today…..Broken 😡

      Did the sent drums break during shipping ?

    • @goldennugget1014
      @goldennugget1014 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@singsangsung1665 I don’t know. Either they are sending me broken parts or they are not adequately packaging their parts for shipping. The drum seems to be made of a cheap plastic like material that breaks easily if not handled delicately.

    • @Ikey04-ge9gy
      @Ikey04-ge9gy 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Why are they even sending you a drum for a broken motor?? Two independent parts
