How in the hell do you initially separate the knobs? Pretty sure a broke a brand new knob because I couldn’t separate them from eachother

Hey ive had one of these for around 12mths now, awesome, i mounted mine on a base onto the dewalt de7260 rolling stand, just as awesome as the saw, have a google 👍

For $12 you can just buy the entire door knob and latch assemb,y and have spare parts. That's what I did.

Your video informed me that the only tools needed for installation was a regular (phillips) screwdriver, so when my doorknob came off, as awkward as it appeared, I didn't need any special tool to tighten the knob-just the regular screwdriver. Thank you. You saved me from having to ask someone to come over to fix the knob.

Nice stand. Finally wheels with ball bearings and a gas strut to lift it. Easily big enough for any saw on the market as well. Mikey likes it.

Mine has also locked me out. How did you remove the internal latch piece that failed? Mine is currently stuck in locked position keeping the door closed. I’ve removed everything else.

If the PTO starts acting up again in the near future, it will be because your battery is not charging. I didn't see you check to see if the new battery was charging. Your old battery likely wasn't bad; it was more likely that it was just low from not charging (and yes, the PTO clutch takes a lot of juice..so if the battery isn't charging, it'll soon drop to a level where it can't sustain the PTO). If it turns out that the battery is not charging, it is likely either the fuse or fuse holder (in the wiring between the engine and the seat- or mounted on the fender on one side of the engine) or your voltage regulator/rectifier (under the engine cover- an easy fix and a $50 part) So if the PTO cuts out again...don't replace the clutch.., There are videos that can show you how to check your regulator/rectifier. (But check the fuse/wiring first...that was the issue on my Gravely when the PTO quit). These things can fool ya!

I had to replace the clutch in my Ransomes machine about 15 years back. I should probably have an extra one sitting in stock as I am pretty sure the one on it will fail in the not so far future. Right now I cut about four acres plus.

Unfortunately the latch is jammed in the locked position and the door is closed. I have taken the door knob assemblies off, but don;t have a way to get the jammed bolt out, so I am stuck with a locked door.
