I did not want kids, but God had a different plan. My life was transformed and I fell in love

My friend Kate was going to leave Ken because he said he didn’t want a baby; I told her he was just scared but he’d keep it if she got pregnant. She left him.
He got with a new woman and she got pregnant and they had a baby.

What an odd way to end it.

@@mill2712 Kate remarried twice after leaving Ken, not having babies and died in 2022 of breast cancer. Is that a better ending?
I went to Colorado to try to convince her NOT to leave her husband. I loved her but I couldn’t sway her.

Best Bible study I’ve ever listened to regarding marriage & family was John MacArthur’s “the Fulfilled Family”. I appreciate all the dialogue & agree with the problems identified. Bottom line … God is abandoning this nation. Just like in the days of Noah, God is allowing sin to run it’s course. Buckle up! Things are not going to get better. We’re on the precipice of the Great Tribulation. The next event on God’s calendar is the supernatural “snatching away”.

Having my daughter was the best decision, best blessing, best gift, best emotional experience I have ever received from my God! The love, the love, and the love, it’s indescribable! Now I preach all around my generation, 30 somethings, to have children! You’ll never be ready, you just make it happen and watch God do the rest! Trust Him and you’ll be saying thank you Lord Jesus!
Two years ago God woke me up from my sin slumber through the love I experienced having my child. I went astray but then I realized and remembered the love God had and has for me. I forgot who I was. Now I remember I am a child of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit I repented of all my addictions. Praise His Holy name Jesus!
Save yourself from a lot of hurt and get right with God today, just pray to Jesus and say Lord forgive me for my sins, I have gone my own way and I can’t do it without you anymore, be my Lord of my life, starting now, in Jesus matchless name I pray! 🙏🏼

I had my first at 36. I wish I would have had them younger. But I always wanted them.

Women understand the sacrifice, time, energy and thanklessness that comes with being a parent. Men assume women are the default caretakers. I know for me, I've rarely seen men step up in child care. i see miserable, stressed out women. Men then ask "why are my needs not being met?" Maybe because the wife/mother is exhausted, getting very little help while the man checks out.

YES! this is the most honest take ive heard widely repeated from every generation. She gives her body and life to the children because they 100% cannot fend for themselves, and the man-child gets all jealous for her attention and efforts but is too weak to actually relieve her burden or carry her load let alone keep up his own adult self which should be fully capable of selfcare. He believes himself to be an infant more important than actual infants.

@Hedgina-z2y I've seen men regardless of which country they come from, leaving it all up to women. I've also seen hands on fathers too. It's seems though that the passive outweighs the active

Regardless........Women, or any given woman, is responsible for her own decisions, bad or otherwise, in the kind of man she chooses to marry or partner (shack) up with.
You cannot assert away women's own accountabilities.

We are going to see A LOT of older, lonely, single, childless women over the next couple of decades.
