True, but who is doing the speaking in that passage? It isn't Christ. If singleness is the path God has chosen for you then that is correct. The number of "true" Christian women in the world who are devoted to putting God's will above and before their own "feelings" are probably less than one half of one percent of the world Christian population of women. I agree, in a perfect world, God's way is better, but this isn't a perfect world. This is a fallen world, established in sin from the fall of man in the garden and ruled by the enemy as lord of the earth. God's way is truth, but God gave us FREE WILL and thus the choice not to follow His way, which is what most people chose. Therefore, for most people, prenup!

Marriage is a wonderful gift from God, absolutely. However, so is singleness. Not everyone will get married, and I doubt every single person from biblical times were married. A fruitless marriage is not worth it, and we need to stop pushing marriage as superior status over singleness because it then becomes an idol for some people. Many great people of God are not married. Bit disappointed with how your teaching comes across.
Singleness is NOT a gift. It's unscriptural to claim this. God only instructed 1 person in the Bible to remain unmarried, Prophet Jeremiah. John, Jesus and Paul chose it as they had a mission to complete. That's not the case for millions of single Christians. It's a default position. Sadly, in the UK, a lot of "Christians" are unmarriageable, i.e., they lack certain prerequisites to recommend themselves as a spouse. Due to cultural issues, they're overly reserved, on top of that overly conservative, and the new generation lacks interpersonal and communication skills. Perpetual singleness combined with celibacy is psychologically harmful. There's no research on this yet because this is probably the first time in mankind history when millions of adults have never been married.

@@amomto4 Well that's all great, and easy to say, but sadly it doesn't work that way in practice.
Amen brother
That is the largest watch I have ever seen. Is that a sextant? You could navigate a sea-bearing vessel with that thing.
I've seen a lot of so called Christian women throw Jesus under the bus when it didn't suit them especially for another man. Then come back and praise the Lord they found the man God meant for them to have only to get another divorce 3 or 4 years later.
Oh yeah. After we separated, my ex wife immediately started dating a married man and when they became Facebook official, she posted that they were brought together by God. They broke up 2 months later when he reconciled with his wife.
I see divorced women all the time talking about how they are waiting for God to send them a husband. I have to stop myself from saying "what about the one He already sent you who you divorced"
I wonder what the statistics are for who gets thrown under the bus by their spouses most often.Male or female
@@mlwilson2956 "...I have to stop myself from saying "what about the one He already sent you who you divorced"..." Don't stop yourself. Be Jesus' advocate!
Ephesians 5:22-33 MEV Wives, be submissive to your own husbands as unto the Lord.
@@Pomiferous I was mostly talking about people using Jesus only when it suited them. In the comment I said they throw Jesus under the bus.
Marriage is a surefire way to self-destruction and everything you worked hard for as a man.
A woman can just decide to "get bored" one day and with a snap of her fingers she suddenly owns over half of what used to be yours, including your home, car, kids, assets, cash... you get the idea.
Until the legal system changes (stops blindly favoring women), and until woman are raised with humility and loyalty in their hearts, marriage is a completely losing proposition!
As a woman of the old ways, I say your comment is spot on !
Mgtow, Paul Elam.
Mentally yes, financially no.
But if you’re a man, then: mentally no, financially yes
Actually, if done right people who are married are statistically better off financially.
She must dye her hair because shes way too young to have white hair like that. Oh well whatever. Y’all are great 😊
Leave her alone lol
Till death do us part….. period
Unfortunately, society hates marriage.
I bet the book is fantastic. The comments so far, are just more proof to me that this world needs God desperately. Much respect for the both of you. You're doing the right thing, guiding people in the right direction. 🙏🏻
Ive been married more than once. They claimed Christianity. I was used ...when my money ran out , life became horrible until i left. After 23 years of no husband..... I am happy and very single. Not looking
Enjoy your cats 🐈
I need a wife because I burn with passion but I’ve never even dated before and I’m lost in life. 1 Corinthians 7:8-9. I need prayer for God to get me on the right track and for God to swiftly bring me my godly virgin wife. God bless! :)
You have been married for a long time, so I don't really think you can express how life would be like as a single person. Life would be different, but you'd still be the same people.
Of course we’re not, but God is indifferent to our desires and our suffering. He can keep His table scraps.
Jesus Paul Augustine or mark driscoll lol
Wheres my wife?
Where's my future ex-wife?
Ask God where your wife is and be truthful about it come from your heart
elmo can be your wife
No friends no man. Cool cool lol
I honestly wonder if I would’ve been better off staying single & never getting married.
Married for 23 years to my first wife. After 17 years menopause kicked in & she became very unhappy. Decided she’d be happier not married to me. Said she could do better… I’m just a dumb blue collar worker machinist. Remarried 3 years later, and now 13 years later I’ve raised my second family & I have a 17 year old step son that doesn’t respect me, I truly believe he hates me because I have rules & chores. While his biological alcoholic father lets him do whatever he wants… unlimited video gaming. Should have stayed single!
No your stepson will come around Don't push it let God do it let go let God just pray for your stepson
I have the same problem with my son he researches everything everything He's always seeking truth doesn't believe just believing in God and receiving what God has to give he needs evidence evidence is all around him but he does not see that pray for your stepson as I pray for my son
And pray for his biological father

We’ve done that. His dad has reprobate mind. 13 years- no change whatsoever.

I make observations. Fat people make bad marathon runners. This kid has a first love… it’s his video game. Nothing else in this world matters to him other than entertaining himself. I’ve relented… nothing more I can say or do. He’s definitely in God’s hands… and I’m done wasting my time & energy on a toxic relationship.
The problem is woman act on their emotions and control men.
Your personal freedom isn't worth one ounce of a person's loneliness. I am sorry I raised my hand in a dream when the Lord Jesus called to me and asked the question, Who will go for me? My right to make a conscious choice was stolen from me because he wanted a witness against a nation that was guilty of Genocide.
I feel bad for people who take this man’s advice.
Why?
It's not his advice. It's God's word that he is sharing.
