Feminism is a movement that wants equal rights and seeks to attain that solely by pushing for women's rights. So while it doesn't inherently want superiority that is where it will end up without either feminism changing or a men's movement starting
I don' t think Gen Z men are against women having the same freedoms as men. This framing is already wrong. Any freedom men have is based on the responsibility they accept. That's where the issue lies. Women tend to want the authority and freedom they feel men have but non of the requisite responsibility that goes with it. In public women ask for partnership and equality, but in private relationships, they want their man to "step up" and take on financial responsibility(not to mention physical saftey) for her and her offspring. He is also not allowed to have authority over her or his family. Gen Z men see these patterns that only the internet can capture and forming their own opinions. Lastly, saying the patriarchy doesn't work for men or women is rubbish. Why are men expected to turn a forest into a skyscraper but not allowed to rule over it? If we are going to discuss patriarchy, let's discuss ALL of it, not just the parts women find inconvenient.
There’s a lack of self awareness here. Also out of touch with what’s going on the ground. Most of this conversation, with the exception of the lady who pointed out the dilemma men face, is an echo chamber of regurgitated Cosmo-feminism slogans.
1st maybe we could talk about how men feel with men involved in the conversation. 2nd maybe we shouldn't have raised a generation of men telling them that men aren't needed and they are inherently bad. Feminism losing the line "I don't need no man" might help.
A segment where 4 women discuss Gen Z Men and Feminism, but fail to have men included in the conversation. Thats Feminist version of equal representation of the genders. Men dont need to be femsplained to about this topic. If you are going to do it then the least uou can do is actually feature Gen Z men in the discussion the Feminist part is already well represented. What would 4 feminist know what its like to be a Gen Z man?
I love to hear that patriarchy doesn't work for both genders, I totally agree. Gross National Happiness was higher in traditional Indigenous matriarchal cultures where people worked together to ensure a basic standard of living. I think another problem with feminism is the condescension from low places from all genders that it's brought, and how it lets people with low social credit into positions of authority.
They showed so empathy and understanding towards men and did an effort to deliver in a non threatening way, and still so many hate comments from man, and then they wonder why are they single.
Masked insecurity. Nailed it. Secure and competent men do not feel the need to lower the status of women to raise themselves up. As someone who teaches Gen Z, I see the full spectrum of behaviour toward women - and mostly it’s great. Some of these young men, however, are definitely getting a message - at home or perhaps from the Andrew Tates of the world - that the status quo is under threat, and the response is exactly how people behave when their entitlement is challenged. There’s still a lot of work to do toward equality.
... and what do you see on the spectrum of behaviour towards men? Because if you don't look at the view from the other side you will lack balance in your problem analysis. You will miss half the problem.
Feminism definition: I want superiority to men, all the same rights and privileges but none of the accountability

Talk all you want modern women. Men are waking up. Talk about insecurity and try to shame men all you want. We don't give a f and we'll make you lose.

That's not feminism, that's called meritocrasy.

Men don't have a problem being single.
Men are being told two things at once? And women are being told a million things at once.
Five junior hockey players have currently been charged with sexual assault. I have wondered about this re: feminist values.
literally anyone can bring up a bad article with each gender like what was the point of this comment

Very good conversation 👍🏻
Feminism is actually a deeply complex politic that these women don't actually understand ... but also misogyny has become more and more common/popular
If there even is any real misogyny, there is 10 000 times more misandry.

Entitlement of what?
Forced into war by using miltary draft?
without women being drafted for miltary service there can't be gender equality.
Nah, we simply are the ones who will stop the madness.
No, the problem is women still want to date "up" and refuse to date down like men always have.

I agreed with the lady with the stats.
Damned if we do or don’t.

The only thing I gotta say...Gen Z might be the first generation that thinks that women owe them a relationship...um, no !
I think they would be happy if women just left them alone.
@@mrnice1976 Did I miss something ? Where has it been said that women are chasing men ?
I don't think any gen z wants a relationship with any of these toxic feminists
Gen Z men are the ones championing the MGTOW movement. They are no longer seeing the value of having relationships with women.
