Possibly, or it could be just a weak seal down towards the connection point. After doing this, now bleed it traditionally, with some one pushing on the pedal as you work the bleeder nut, and do that til you go through almost a full little bottle of brake fluid and I bet it will be fixed 👍
How much vacuum are you applying? I don't want to suck air past the seal by using too much vacuum
