this helped me so much, Will be doing this myself here soon at 173k and she’s starting to develope a small little misfire. And pretty positive it’s coming from one of these.
great job, thanks for the hints! I wish I was home to do this job vs out teaching. I have plugs and wires, think I'll do that before I change the coil out. Mostly to wait til I am home.
Looks so so so much easier than replacing the plugs on the old Lima 2.3 4 cylinder motors they had in the older Rangers. They had 8 plugs instead of just 4. The ones on the driver's side are buried behind the intake manifold. Real pain in the ass to remove them if you don't remove the intake manifold, but it can be done. It's a pain in the ass either way.
Well there are some dirt track guys making power out of them. but simple way a k&n not cheap brand cold air intake, and cat back exhaust will net a few
I believe you found the oil leak...Holy crap! I really thought that 3rd spark plug was gonna break on ya..it sounded horrible. Great Video Terry!!
Yea it was bad it didn't really wanna go. Thanks Will!

Yea by some miracle they made it easier instead of harder lol
Nice ! Change that spark plug oil
Thanks, Yea i gotta change that next, luckly you can change it the same intervals as the regular oil lol
Great video, but you might want to take your air compressor nozzle and blow out the area you're working on.
Thanks
Great job!
Thank you!
Hey where did you get that tool box on the back if you don’t mind me asking
It was one the truck when it was bought. so i am not sure.
How long until you fix the oil/gasket problem?
Not sure depends on the owner now. He is not worried about it yet because he has another car to drive and has not been driving this one much
I want more power to that truck but can’t find anything not to much information about that engine

Should I use copper or iridium spark plugs?
Honestly up to you. Some people say plugs are plugs it dosnt matter. Others swear by this or that. Go with what ever you have had the best luck with
Which code was this misfire giving I have the same truck
i do not recall now but it was a misfire for a cylinder
Did it get rid of misfire?
On this truck it did
