@Ezio-ic5vc I moved in to help her. I lived in that situation for a long time, mostly on weekends since I traveled for work. If I had a date, I had to get a hotel. My adult sister who was a lifelong heroin addict lived there because my mother was an enabler. While I wasn't there a lot, I was there enough that my sister was managible. When I moved out she started abusing my mom who hid that fact till it came out and I got a restraining order against her. It didn't help because she killed my mother. Its exactly what I feared. So judge me all you want. I'm pretty sure you have zero idea what I've been through nor could you walk 10 feet in my shoes.

just got reminded of this...lol I don't think I ever watched the whole thing. Dan was super cool at the end. I'm a sarcastic dude, I hope people realise the book title "badmitton players have groupies" is a poke at myself being a 20 year elite athlete in a sport that isn't popular. People rightly so think that pro athletes in sports on TV get girls easy, or rock stars, its the same thing for Bowling, and other sports that aren't as glamorous. While I am proud of my achievments, I am not in the clouds thinking I'm on the Level of Messi, and shit talked my sport since day one as being less important than others although, it was never less important to me. lol David Lee Roth had a quote, "I live in my own world but at least they know me there."

Hello Dan! Your videos are very interesting! My mom has a Philippino lady as a house maid 1 day/week. She is continuously trying to take advantage for extra money for this and that. Now, I understand! My mom helps her and her family already with many extras and much more. All she talks about is needing more money for her and her poor? family! Meanwhile, she goes on very expensive vacations and restaurants with her husband! On top of that, she and her nice local Canadian husband already have great paying jobs (plus tenants living their house!) My mom has started to notice the game! (She would cry and cry and tell my mom about her being the only one nice enough to help her family). It gets even worse but I am not even going to talk about it!
Just got back to Australia from one week holiday from Patong.10 years haven't been there. Thai are professionals in extraction of money from tourists

I was joking, but I've had a pretty amazing life. Sent dan an email and I think he did a pretty good job with it. My email jumped around but my focus was trying to make me seem as normal as possible. (except that I didn't get taken) I do feel kinda suicidal that an accountant thinks a true story I wrote after a few beers seemed ordinary. Great acountant personality dude. :)
Well if we learned one thing from this story is that he clearly does not need to convince any publisher. He is perfectly capable of printing the book himself.

Dan has a gift. I'm a professional at what I do for a living,writing isn't it. I'm mythodical and exacting if I'm getting payed. Dan took a late night email I wrote after a couple beers and turned it into a story. If you think a book I would write would be constructed in the same fashon, I have some swampland for sale in florida. You gotta think deeper. Don't worry, lack of deep thought is the standard.

I Actually had fun on my trip. If you think I lost money.... lol Wrong. Don't get me wrong, one of the major draws for going to thailand is the cost being so cheap if your eyes are open, but if you think spending $300 for a tattoo is losing money, or buying a family dinner a couple times is getting screwed. You might want to never go on a vacation becuase you are broke. As I've said before, I have done pretty much everything in thailand a hetero can do, and I don't think poorly on anyones choices as far as budget or focus of their trips are. My mentality is not to be so cheap though. Lifes too short.
When I retire there, it might be a bit different, obviously theres a difference between vacationing and normal everyday life as well as a difference between married and single.
