Hi Dan, Great Story I’ve been going to Thailand since 1978 at the young age of 22 first night out in Pat Pong Bangkok as a fairly convenient guy it’s was a real eye opener even for me growing up in conservative Catholic Ireland in the 70s I use to say
( if only my Ma could see me now she be throwing Holy Water on me HAHa ) It was amazing experience and I’ve be going back to Thailand ever since and still love it. They only earn a few THB per month in fields so they go to pattaya for sex with older and lonely guys to make money for their family or work internationally if a pretty girl as high end escorts in HK Jakarta Singapore KL Bali or brothels like the story. In rural thailand there is little employment opportunities other than a local seven -eleven or factory. They perceive a foreigner as rich and golden goose a walking ATM and its about economics if you can support with THB50k per month she can stop work and stay with her parents and keep her legs closed. If you cant pay then you are a customer and you pay for your time with her and then moves onto the next customer but in the story i think she thought Roger was married and no future income stream and moved onto mark. if the girls speak english then you know she has had foreign boyfriends before or worked in the bars if from isaan. Some relationships work if you are in country 24/7 if long distance it doesnt due to trust issues and you have no clue who she is going with when not in thailand the excuses are voluminous as to why cant answer her phone its lost no signal no credit. Even know one girl who brings boyfriend to her isaan village the husband sleeps in the barn and when boyfriend goes home back to normal and he moves back to his wife bed. Know others with four mobiles and four different us british australian boyfriends all sending money at same time THB 100,000 plus and they all think exclusive they are not just customers. Quite the crazy escapade. This is the first video of yours I've watched. I related to it because I too have been married to a Thai lady for 18 years. We do not have an exactly open relationship but give each other a lot of freedom. The driving factor is that concept of "face," one does not want to have their partner's infidelity rubbed in the face or known within their social circles. Your story really wasn't about the 18-year relationship but rather this guy's infatuation with a pretty massage girl, whose long came was most likely divorce his wife and marry her. Good luck to him, hopefully I never find myself in his circumstances.

One minute you're ogling a photo of some Bangkok massage girl on a website, next thing you know you're driving 10 hours across Europe, laundering money for her, organising visas and transporting her across international borders to other men (people smuggling). But if I take the story at face value, it sounds like she had a genuine soft-spot for him from the beginning and they've now got a good platonic relationship (evidenced by her coming to help him when he was sick). But don't try this at home kids! You saw how quickly he sunk into the quicksand. Just lucky for him she didn't move in for the kill.

Your videos are informative and entertaining. What gets me are negative comments . Jealousy? A sigh of “have I missed out”. Friendship, understanding and acceptance are great things. A friend of mine is married to a Thai lady he met in a bar and he told me “don’t judge a person based on your understanding”.
I think she fell in love with his heart and kindness and caring for her but...she knew he was not the man for her future. I think she felt like she could use him for her assistance to better her life and in return make him feel good and loved in return. I would be curious to know the age difference between the 2 men. I think in her eyes...it was ..."AN UNSPOKEN AGREEMENT." She knew from the beginning he was not the man for her but knew he was a very trusting and kind man. She knew he was married and agreed to this escapade. He used her for what he needed and she did the same in return. Whether you agree with it or not...they were kind and loving to each other. I don't think they used each other in this situation...they helped each other for a period and she is much younger and it was time for her to move on. His wife didn't seem to care. She probably used him more than the other girl. I think this was a circumstance of caring and love for each other in another degree. He wanted it to continue and she knew it would one day come to an end. I think she tried her best not to use you or take advantage of you but as a way to help each other in their different journey's. I don't think she wanted to live with the guilt the rest of her life for scamming him and she tried her best to make the best of their different situations in life.
