Had Argentinian food for the first time in Barcelona and the hosts were the nicest people I could find in Spain as most people are cold out there and the Argentinian food was the best food I ate out there, La Milanesa Napolitana has to be one of the best Argentinian dishes.
@@geakerleaker I’m half Argentinian been to Argentina many times throughout my life I never I even thought to put the chimichurri on the empanada lol not even my relatives do it ! Why waste good chimichurri on an empanada that should taste great just by itself 🤣
@@theBeatsbyj same Im also half argentinan lol, yeah empanadas should be good by itself, my family frys them in lard so they allways have that extra flavor. what part of argentina is your family from? and whats ur other half?
@@geakerleaker I'm from Argentina. Never add anything to an empanada. I know that if you go to an Argentinian place in the US, they are going to give you chimichurri with bread, but if you go to Argentina, you are not going to have the chimichurri at all because it is ONLY used in chicken or pork while broiling them.
I prefer the milanesa de pollo, but overall Argentina has really good food! I studied abroad in Buenos Aires in college, and I gotta say they also have some of the best Italian food too! Best gnocchis I’ve ever had! And the alfajores treats are so good! 😋 Ok now I’m hungry! 🤣
I get that it’s an acquired taste, but at the same time I’m also offended that they didn’t like it as much as I would have hoped. Next video ideas should be going to an Argentine restaurant or go to Argentina 🇦🇷 Also I just wanna say thank you for loving our food and culture
I was surprised when they named the asado parrilla, because as far as i know, the name parrillada is like more from Spain, as i've never heard and argentinian person call the asado like that. I say this being Argentinian.
Soy Porteña y jamás le agrego nada a una empanada, menos salsa chimichurri. El tema es que los argentinos que vinieron a Estados Unidos le hicieron mucha "propaganda" a esta salsa para poder atraer clientela y vender más en sus restaurantes, teniendo en cuenta que los Americanos son adictos a todo tipo de salsas y le agregan estas a todo. Salsa BBK, thousand island, blue cheese, Ranch, ketchup son algunas de las que usan a diario y suelen "arruinar" las comidas al ponerle demasiado.
I've never had Argentina cuisine and I think I would only ever try the Empanada as not a fan of the meats shown even if they might taste delicious, no disrespect but not adventurous when it comes to foods.😏

Las empanadas se comen SIN chimichurri. Esta salsa es solo para carne de cerdo o pollo a las brasas. Soy Argentina.

Parrillada se usa pero se refiere no solo a la carne, incluye las anchuras. Igualmente, creo que está entrando en desuso.
