The anime cut it out but there's a panel in the manga showing Rei using her quirk on Todoroki's face after she burned him. They were both balling their eyes out, pretty tragic.
Very minor spoiler: The Todoroki siblings birth order is: Touya is the Eldest Fuyumi is the second Eldest Natsu is the second youngest Shouto is the youngest
Endeavor pumping out kids every 4 years I assume they're all four years apart in that order because he would just make a new one when one quirk awakened
That’s….a pretty damn good theory to say the least ✨👀 They should’ve called this episode “Keeping up with the Todoroki’s” Also Deku’s dad is overseas, Dallas
so we've been told anyways, considering the show up until this point hasn't even been one full year it's not too much of a stretch to say he's working, but we've never seen any evidence to show what type of person his dad is, for all we know he could be a deadbeat who left and inko just told deku he was working to protect him.
10:41 I just love to see you all speculating and as a manga reader I can't wait to see your faces when season 6 gets animated. Your reactions will be priceless!!
One thing I will say, the kid in the flashback with red hair -is- Toya. The animators didn't realize the kid and his hair was relevant at the time and messed up the colour back in season 2. ^^;
I love all these scenes with Endeavor’s thoughts, adds on to why he’s my favorite character. Episode was too heavy on the flashbacks though, especially ones we’d already seen, but I get that they wanted to remind us about the last sibling for the Toya reveal at the end.
you have some very good theorys about toya. From a manga reader you will find out more soon. season 6 will reaveal alot its supposed to come out this fall.
For some reason back in season 2 the animation studio changed the hair a bit. In the manga Toya's hair was pure white and Natsuo had red triangles on the sides during that flashback. However for some reason when animated they completely changed Toya's hair color and removed the red from Natsuo's. It is likely worth noting that in both versions Natsuo's hair is completely white in his adult life. Why that is has never been explained or even touched upon.
@@sidharthakarsh5833 It was not. I won't elaborate due to manga spoilers, but showing Toya with different hair colors was absolutely, confirmed intentional.
Fuyumi (sister) is a elementary teacher and Natsuo (brother) is a college student. Toya was the first both child then Fuyumi then Natsuo and Shoto is the baby of the family
Okay so the comment I wanted to answer with this seemingly got deleted but for anyone out there that it might concern and who doesn't understand the outburst of Natsuo (Todorokis Brother) etc: Might be Spoilers below depending on how you view it. Tried to keep it vague. I feel as though people are not really paying attention to the details between these two though, Natsuo does see that Endeavor is trying to change etc, and that's EXACTLY the reason why he is so conflicted and has a hard time to keep his cool when the Todoroki Family (minus the mom ofc) tries to have a "Family" Dinner after all that time and the stuff that Endeavor did. He is feeling like everyone just expects him to play along and "forgive" the person that has caused his Siblings and himself so much pain throughout most of their lives. At the same time he wants to forgive since he sees the effort of not just Endeavor but also his Sister for example, but also (eventually) seemingly accepts that he cannot forgive his Father because he sees himself as not as kind because of his hardened feelings towards him compared to Todoroki that suffered more directly but is seemingly more inclined to see where this goes. Which is explained in later Episodes.. Essentially what im trying to say is his actions while making everything "awkward" in the moment are not only reasonable but also inconsequetial. Why you ask? Because if you would actually have to imagine what sitting at the table with your parent with which you have not had too much contact because they scarred your entire family including yourself, and no less infront of people that you barely know, is like then you would probably see that it was a really uncomfortable situation for him aswell. Just like he stated once, he sees this as Endeavor trying to change things from his side and expecting open arms just because he came to the conclusion that his actions were bad seemingly just recently. Its a really dirty feeling on top of an already awkward situation with Emotionally Charged Gunpowder-Barrels of disdain sprinkled on top. Which is what also leads to something else later on.. (*Spoiler ahead!*) Obviously talking about the Siblings moving together with the mother in a seperate home away from Endeavor and those walls that are haunted by the past and more importantly by him. Also, one last thing to consider when you say "- he(Natsuo) can't deny that he(Endeavor) is actually trying to improve himself.": The Audience can know the thoughts and the reasoning behind a characters actions, other characters however most of the time don't get that so if you imagine some bad person in your life just up and told you "Hey im trying to change now, lets eat dinner awkwardly with my trainees after I did absolutely nothing to atone just yet." plus you actually had no interest in forgiving them, then you would probably not be that thrilled to follow that path right?
This is a generic comment - no spoiler involved, as I haven't got far enough to know which way it goes in the end (or if we even have a final answer yet). Sometimes, abusers simply don't get to be forgiven, no matter how much they want it. That's the consequence of their own actions that they have to accept. Even if they change later in life, they can't 'earn' forgiveness. It's within the heart of the victim - they either will or won't. All they can do is their best to deserve trust and love, and then hope. And I love the complex and layered responses we get from the various Todoroki family members. It's not all one way or the other.
@@dajtoad1 Exactly. Also spoiler ahead: Which is why its so important that Endeavor then made it clear to Natsuo that he didn't want to be forgiven but rather "atone" which he actually started to do in a rather nice way for the family and also a good way from a Story perspective as it gives an extra layer to his character and at least SOME minor closure on the open wound that is the Family dynamic at the moment.
