Come on guys you have to love Re-Destro, he is voiced by the same guy who voiced Hughes in Fullmetal…he was also the original voice of Present Mic in season 1 (had to be replaced due to health problems). Thinking back Aizawa’s VA also changed in season 2 so the double act would’ve sounded very different nowadays
I... never realized that. Either of em. Huh. Unfortunately I... really don't care for Re-destro's voice. It's extraordinarily plain. It's the voice of "Man #4", completely devoid of presence. He could have sounded like pee-wee herman and it'd work better for me. But it's whatever, shit happens and with his reduced significance in the anime it ain't gonna bother me too much.
@@HypeLozerInc well like I say Strait (the VA) had to leave the cast due to health problems but has obviously come back with Re-Destro which is a nice little touch back for him. His voice for Mic was very high pitched and you can tell the difference pretty easily if you go back. As for Aizawa’s original VA Alex Organ he moved away from the series to focus on theatre work iirc. They were fortunate in season 2 in that Aizawa is heavily bandaged so his voice by design is a bit muffled which hid the change, by the time the bandages came off most people were used to the new voice. To be fair they sound similar but Organs had a much deeper tone and sounded a little more exhausted when he talks. There are comparison videos on TH-cam I’m sure

You may not know this due to the anime stupidly changing stuff around but in the manga the hospital scene had a lot more blood and shigaraki despite all that was laughing like a madman which show how deranged and tenacious he is
Scenes that were unnecessarily cut out from the manga 1. We see a commercial from detnerat showing that they are a company that make specific clothing and item for people with quirk and are entering the hero support item industry, the whole commercial was actually quite cool and a nice piece of world building and I think there was even a killing joke reference in there as well but I understand why they have to cut this for extensive flashback and a filler beach episode 2. Redestro, the CEO of said company, was shown having a friendly chat with his assistant and from their bantering and his assistant making fun of redestro baldness you can see that they are close friend. But unfortunately his assistant unknowingly insulted and ridiculed the liberation ideal, redestro was shown to be extremely conflicted and sad but he eventually put his arm around his assistant neck and with tear in his eyes, snap his neck. This scene shows that despite being an extreme idealist, redestro still care deeply for his friends and comrades, this also set the mood for the arc and shows how menacing redestro is but I understand why they have to cut this for extensive flashback and a filler beach episode 3. The league with their financial backing gone was shown to fight basically the quirKKK ( which again is a nice piece of world building ) to rob them of their, this scene was narrated by spinner and showed how poor the league currently was, the scene then transitioned to their run down, filthy hideout where we see a cute scene of twice putting a necklace on toga (cementing their relationship, wonder why that's important later on), we were then shown that spinner is frustrated with their current situation and argue about how he initially join the league for stain but doesn't know what he even doing anymore (which is some nice development for spinner and make his eventually acceptance of shigaraki that much better) then while shigaraki and spinner was arguing their place was fucked up by a surprise visit from Gigantomachia, the league wasn't just randomly standing in the middle of a field like in the anime. This whole scene was actually quite nice and show how close the league is to each other but also how they have to deal with inner turmoil and challenges but I understand why they have to cut this for extensive flashback and a filler beach episode

That ad read was so brilliantly placed i refused to sskip thru it lmao
even though the anime censored alot, im happy that majority of the "anime-only" fans are loving the hell out of this arc. So its a win in my book. And they still get the dreadful feeling of destruction
Do you guys not remember literally everyone saw AFO get locked up and go to prison on tv?.. and the Dr is his direct subordinate... and the Nomu's were just expressed to be people last episode? My god man. lol
-."Another finger has been found"
-"Sakuna?"
Not gonna lie, that transition to the audible plug was hella smooth, y'all.
Guys please pay attention to the show and timeline. The events you are seeing now are basically flashbacks. You have already seen that Hawks is investigation the Libertation army and you clearly have seen the League of Villains working with them.
The less they remember the latter, the better their viewing will be. Why on earth would you push that? It's one of the biggest failings of this season.
@@Reshapable it is a failing but it also can throw off their perception of time within the show and confuse them. Not my fault the show did this. But since they did may as well help them keep track of things so they don’t mess up information.
@@kamlee8160 are you new to the channel? Even if the episodes weren't rearranged and Horikoshi himself was giving commentary personally to them while watching it; they'd still remember absolutely nothing, I honestly don't understand it.
"Bring me the cone of shame." Ok that was hilarious 😂
You guys gonna love the my villain academia arc. We actually get to see some interesting character development from the league of villains. It actually reminds me of the recent suicide squad movie.
It was already shown that the 2 groups unite forces at the end. It was on episode 15 I think
I do wish you guys would do a table read of this arc in the manga. Just so you can get the scenes that're cut out. But I'm still glad you're excited for this arc.
This hasn't come up in the manga but fun to think about for the future.
Did Toga potentially telegraph a face turn mentioning her 'love' for Izuku and Ochaco and then also her distress at the things she wants being destroyed?
It's funny that the doctor named the baby nomu Johnny 😅
in before manga readers start saying to read the manga for this arc etc...just let them enjoy it and make their own opinions
There is a bit of a point towards saying read the manga for this arc or take a look at a recap video so they can get knowledge on the things that were cut, skipped or changed by the studio.
@@crowsnest2226 its best to leave that for when the season has ended I think. Also, everything that was cut out isn’t going to matter in the anime, because it has been cut, so you’re not going to miss anything in the future if you don’t read the manga
@@DVK111 the cut items obviously matter, as the motives for re-destro have been damaged.
The cut advertisement, the cut conversations from nect episodes flashbacks with him, they've kept the league's side but not re-destro's
@@satoshimori5130 i know, that is fair enough. My point is that it doesn’t matter for the anime. Because it hasnt been shown, you don’t need to know it to get everything in the anime.
@@DVK111 Considering the anime is a adaption of the manga wherein these things do matter for the characterization, background and to provide motivation for the characters going forward it should absolutely matter.
I don't see how waiting for the season to end is gonna matter unless they're gonna retroactively flashback in things that they could've just shown or kept the same.
that might be the smoothest sponsor segue i've ever heard
I can’t wait for them to see Shigaraki’s origin episode 😈
Not gonna lie some of you are annoying, they upload so many times a week and yall complain about everything, simples things like a certain reaction or quality, im just happy to see then react in general.
not gonna lie, people like you who find mediocrity acceptable are just as annoying sooooo lmfao why be reactors if you have the memory of a gold fish? And don't use the number of shows they watch as an excuse like other people don't watch just as many.
@@skelitonking117 then why are you here lmao. Some of you call them stupid over not remembering something from a show thats not that memorable, plus even still so what if others do that? I wont remember somethibg from 5 eps ago while watching 24 different shows lmao. Its not mediocritcy is just yall bitching over everything lmao this gen soft fr.
As much as I usually hate those sponser segments, I gotta give you props here because that was the most seamless sponser segment I have seen on youtube. Round of applause for getting that to seem so natural.
"Bring me the cone of shame" had me DYING 😂😂😂
They took out a lot of good scenes from the manga, especially the one where the league basically took out the kkk
Tbh the energy I'm getting is my hero has gone on long enough that only 2 people on the couch still care about it, the others can't be asked to remember anything cause they aren't invested anymore which is fair when you're watching so many shows with a lot of them aiming to be exciting and quick as a selling point and my hero basically being a slow consistent build.
True I don’t see them as hype for My hero like they do for Naruto or other shounen
lmfao it's not an excuse; it's not difficult to remember things; they aren't senior citizens
13:00: that was the best transition for an advertisement ever! I love it!
Love it when reactors react to an anime where I don't have to read the subtitles.
Damn! What happened?
@@Wezt334 awesome that he's back! S1 and s2 are still my favourite season's
@@HypeLozerInc Mics voice and the yelling was too much strain for him to do so he backed out.
yooo you f'ing kidding me, this might have been the best Ad i have seen in a long time xD
Yo that transition to the ad read was smooth as fuck
If they where paying attention they would see they did join together
"people with powers aren't oppressed"
RIP Spinner's cut backstory.
Is great to see their reaction to MVA, but it also saddens me that they won't experience the complete story of this amazing Arc.
Also.... Rana don't you dare disrespect my man Giran... Although I understand it... they didn't got to see how badass he really is 😔.
@Lexi Muntin Start from chapter 218, that's the actual beginning of the Arc.
I know this has been said a million times over but watching this reminds me how much the cuts make me sad
Jesus Christ that Audible plug was smooth.
Eric Vale killing it 👍 such a legend
that sponsor was the smoothest thing ever
I’ve been waiting for this one
They really should have did and opening v2 for my villain academia
So much wasted potential :(
They do fill but an opening northing. Just they changed the tittle...wow what a waste.
Finally after months of waiting and waiting for them to get here we have finally reached the point boys boys the greatest art that we have been waiting for in this series welcome to my villain academia
It has been meh so far
@@sawyer7mage99 but season 6 will be better
I've been loving it so far. Even if we don't get to see all of the content that was cut, I still think it's amazing as it is (I'm also reading the manga just to see the parts I missed). It probably is one of the best arcs in the anime, but I am more hyped for the next arc, which will probably be even better (I'll enjoy it no matter how "bad" it will be).

Love that spinner placement
"Bring me the cone of shame!" Suraj 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The realization of the doctor and little midoriya and this new guy being the same person is flooring me. What if Izuku wasn't actually ever really Quirkless but instead had his Quirk stolen at a young age by that same doctor, the one that is messing with shigaraki?
The audiobook part was so smooth
You may not know this due to the anime stupidly changing stuff around but in the manga the hospital scene had a lot more blood and shigaraki despite all that was laughing like a madman which show how deranged and tenacious he is
Scenes that were unnecessarily cut out from the manga
1. We see a commercial from detnerat showing that they are a company that make specific clothing and item for people with quirk and are entering the hero support item industry, the whole commercial was actually quite cool and a nice piece of world building and I think there was even a killing joke reference in there as well but I understand why they have to cut this for extensive flashback and a filler beach episode
2. This scene shows that despite being an extreme idealist, redestro still care deeply for his friends and comrades, this also set the mood for the arc and shows how menacing redestro is but I understand why they have to cut this for extensive flashback and a filler beach episode
And A lot of people say that you're a hater just for telling the thruth this time. This arc was a waste.
16:06 Because it's illegal for meta-humans to use their abilities in everyday life publicly. Only official heroes can do so.
Did anyone else notice that Big First girl at UA has similar power as Re-Destro...and the same hair color as Re-Destro...and the same 3 hair spikes as Re-Destro?
Suraj's theory on doctor stealing kids quirks is actually a pretty popular theory among fans. You may be on to something :)
Best song since PEACE SIGN?! STAR MAKER IS RIGHT THERE! Merry Go Round has a good ending half at best

in regards to the opening song, I believe some of you guys think it is silly because the only parts you can understand (in english) refers to merry go rounds. Theres like 80-90% of the song you dont know that has an actual message, and once you look up the lyrics you realise that the English parts refer to merry go rounds metaphorically and ties into the message being sung. check out the lyrics some time if interested.

OK I gotta admit that audible plug was well done.
As Plankton would say “FINALLY!!!”
Their disregard for Odd Future hurts me. That’s the best opening I say.
23:15 That is a popular theory. But as far as I know, it still hasn’t been confirmed or debunked, even to this day.
The plug for audible was so cool!
I'm trying to understand the motivations and justifications of the villainous terrorist organization and I kinda get that being outcasted by society makes you wanna go nuts in destroying it, as natural motivation but its the end goal for their mission which I don't get. They're like Christopher Nolan's Joker, holding a natural hatred for societal norms, but no plans for replacing the system just expressing that hatred through anarchy and violence. Some villains really just wanna "see the world burn" as Batman's butler once remarked, and that's where their mission stops.
This is the Preparation for the Countdown to the Beginning😈.
It's 3:16am here so I will watch it in morning. Night.
This season has not been my favorite but these last few episodes have been pretty good
