I wouldn’t do a stack. I would do the 5inch with that tip. You got a fine LBZ here and a stack would just completely ruin it imo. Stacks are cool when you’re in high school…not now lol
9 blades are just a fad. Don't even sound good, just sounds like a kazoo. IMO an S300 or S400 swap sounds so much better, like a diesel should, not just a kazoo.
Love it man! Mine has 5" exhaust straight and a 3" PPE downpipe. Phenomenal tone. Love hearing the turbo spooling. I dig the dump tip a lot, had that on my old truck and it worked very well. I'd do it again to my current one. Looking forward on everything to come man. It's funny how back in the day it was F150s and now we both have more older GMs. I liked my Fords in the day but man I do wish I got hooked on these GMs sooner.
Love the videos man! Just wanted to add I think your passenger side headlight isn’t in correctly. There’s some tabs on the bottom that might not be in the hole correctly! Maybe I’m wrong just wanted to add my 2 cents
Dude, I love this truck. I currently have a 2019 Ram Laramie, and I love it, but if I could find a truck like this (that didn’t cost over $30K) I would trade in a heartbeat. They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore!
This exhaust looks amazing. Clean and simple and sounds great. I’d ride with it and put the money into other parts of the truck. Loving the LBZ content!
Such a clean truck and love the axle dump definitely can hear the difference I wouldn’t change it, I’d be content myself and enjoy it everyday my dream truck, had a 13 lml now I want a lbz
Enjoy your channel but I was questioning whether or not it was lawful to run without a muffler in the state of Alabama. So I did a little searching and found this. Alabama Code 32-5-216. Mufflers; prevention of noise, smoke, (a) Every motor vehicle shall at all times be equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and annoying smoke, and no person shall use a muffler cut-out, bypass, a muffler without baffles, or similar device upon a motor vehicle on a highway.
Looks awesome, only issue is in my area (Canada's Cali..... Ontario) it now looks "deleted" with the aftermarket tip, begging to be pulled over by MTO.
Gale Banks engineer team designed a 4" exhaust for this generation Duramax; Banks does not offer a 5" system. Read into that what you want, but I don't believe there are significant gains to be had from going with a bigger exhaust system than 4". You might consider the Banks hot-side turbo tube as money better spent. It's even powder coated red to match ol' Clifford 😉
just an fyi the top headlights with the low and high beam looks like they are slanted, should not be like that. but pretty sure its an easy fix. clean truck tho.
aye buddy I just watched your video where you were trying to put the 16s on chomper, you said youd have to take the weights off but if you put 3 inch spacers on there youll clear 15s I have 15s on 33s on my 03 and clear weights and everything good, i tried 2 inch spacers and they didnt work
If u decide to do one of the stacks I’d find another hood so you don’t ruin yours and go hood stack. A clean rust free bed where I’m from sells for $2,000 so much cheaper to slap a hood on and have fun than deal with a 5 inch hole in the bed
get a tuner for her and make them herspurrs correctly and make a good 500 hp and 1000lb ft tq instead of doing cosmetics and looks the mechanical side of things is what i would love to see.

Truth. Stacks are smol pp compensators
What we a hood stack is cool asf looking
@@igamer3068 hood stacks are only cool if you’re fast too
There nice only if done really nicely
There nice only if done really nicely
It sounds so nice, one thing I love about your vids is that you tell everything good and bad about every truck you drive.
Nothing beats that body style as far as newer trucks go. Love that gen.
You should do a 9 blade turbo swap when you swap the rest of the exhaust and the downpipe. They sound incredible and so unique.
Yeaaaaa I was sayin to slap a 9 blade on there!!
9 blades are just a fad. Don't even sound good, just sounds like a kazoo. IMO an S300 or S400 swap sounds so much better, like a diesel should, not just a kazoo.
@@willybway99 lmao a 9 blade sounds way better than any s300 or s400
Liking this truck more and more each video I see, even as is I think it looks incredible. Can't get over that victory red!
I love axle dumps so clean
That truck is burning super clean!
4:50 - your passenger white reverse light is burned out.
Love it man! Mine has 5" exhaust straight and a 3" PPE downpipe. Phenomenal tone. Love hearing the turbo spooling. I dig the dump tip a lot, had that on my old truck and it worked very well. Where are y’all able to find 4inch-5inch full straight pipes? All I see are cat backs
where did you find such a clean LBZ 😫😫
Love the videos man! Just wanted to add I think your passenger side headlight isn’t in correctly. There’s some tabs on the bottom that might not be in the hole correctly! Maybe I’m wrong just wanted to add my 2 cents
You can definitely tell that the tires have a bad wear pattern. I’m waiting to see some boggers or something meaty
It’s about that whistle, that woo woo
How many miles does the lbz have ?
Man you really like the tip just the tip!! 8” at that gotta make that tip fit!
Dude, I love this truck. I currently have a 2019 Ram Laramie, and I love it, but if I could find a truck like this (that didn’t cost over $30K) I would trade in a heartbeat. They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore!
You walking into the DMV is like when Norm walks into Cheers. Everybody knows your name. Lol
Can’t wait for that thing to get built
Love the way it looks now. Would like to see some boggers or mud graps on them wheels! Exhaust sounds great! Enjoy all your content!
This exhaust looks amazing. Clean and simple and sounds great. I’d ride with it and put the money into other parts of the truck. Loving the LBZ content!
love the truck, but you thinking about leveling those tow mirrors, or even new onessss??
Are the headlights from a 1500? I notice they aren’t flush. Anyways, man that sounds awesome!!!
Every time you post I can’t wait to watch and see what’s happened next. Such a fun build!
4” to 8” tip is my personal fav sounds awesome, also OPEN IT UP trust me lol
Wait till you actually straight pipe it. Turbo back. Youll fall IN LOVE
my new favorite truck. it’s so freakin clean
this makes me want to get my dads 06 LBZ. Sounds great!
Very nice cat eye dude. Sounds OG good
Such a clean truck and love the axle dump definitely can hear the difference I wouldn’t change it, I’d be content myself and enjoy it everyday my dream truck, had a 13 lml now I want a lbz
What 5" set up are you gonna go with? It is so hard to find any exhausts that size that are downpipe back these days!
Enjoy your channel but I was questioning whether or not it was lawful to run without a muffler in the state of Alabama. So I did a little searching and found this.

Put a 10 inch on my 5 in exhaust. It made it way louder and crisp. Better turbo noises and deeper v8 BuRbLe
Looks awesome, only issue is in my area (Canada's Cali..... Ontario) it now looks "deleted" with the aftermarket tip, begging to be pulled over by MTO.
Awesome sound dude.
9 blade turbo, Yes! 👌🏻
Is that a stock turbo?
U still have the egr on it?
3in downpipe pipe please needs to be done for even more turbo noise. Great truck
Sounds awesome! 😃👍

When will the 26x16s be installed in the diesel
Love the videos keep em up
Loving the diesel content
That crooked headlight reall bothers me 😂
Sounds good.
Love this rig. Got to change them mirrors up or at least level them😂 fr tho clean rig you living the dream
I think a nice dual 4 inch exhaust would make it sound really nice and deep while standing out!
I would merry the 5” tip just to see how it sounds to compare..what you have on it now sounds good too
I think you should buy the new 9 blade turbo for this thing, I’ve seen them and they are nuts sounding
just an fyi the top headlights with the low and high beam looks like they are slanted, should not be like that. but pretty sure its an easy fix. clean truck tho.
Still needs the 9 blade turbo
You should 2015 2500 towing mirrors for the LBZ
yo where did you get it from and how much did you pay??
Sometimes I forget these trucks have towing gears, I love em but pretty anticlimactic pulls
What size wheels and tires on it? Love the stance of the truck!
You ever found out?
Really clean truck man… but I just can’t get behind the sound of diesels. If you enjoy it though, then that’s what’s up.
Axle dump would be the best route imo looks and sounds great and plz dont cut up holes on such a nice truck
I’ve gotta ask what do you do as a job
I think it sounds good, but it will be so much better with a 5-inch straight pipe with a 7 inch tip out the back corner.
What part of Bama are you from
You've gotten to see what 14 Wides look like on it.
aye buddy I just watched your video where you were trying to put the 16s on chomper, you said youd have to take the weights off but if you put 3 inch spacers on there youll clear 15s I have 15s on 33s on my 03 and clear weights and everything good, i tried 2 inch spacers and they didnt work
Dual 8 inch bed stacks on a 6 inch would be badass
Hood stack for sure!!
Boost led tow mirrors are needed
u should upgrade the mirrors to the newer bodystyle
Hood stack would look amazing on her😩
I put a nut as a spacer on my stock exhaust. Ol 4.8 sounds like a ripper when I floor it lmaoo
def needa see a 9 blade ryan’s diesel survive turbo
I did the 5” turbo back straight pipe with a 10” tip on the Cummins 6.7… it’s dumb.
Don’t be suspicious🎶 lol!
How do you find all these nice trucks man I’m jelly
7:17 cold start
Time to get it tuned now
Bro you were so focused on the exhaust you didn’t even notice your phone ringing😂😂💀
You should put a 6 in lift and put stock oem 16 in rims with 35s perfect set up
Needs a9 blade turbo
RDS 9blade??
damn bro shes clean asfuck
sick im gonna diesel swap my 93 obs chevy soon
Now it doesn’t have a spare, spruce just kept the original exhaust or at least put the smaller tip
My 97 Silverado started knocking today 🤧🤧
Axle dumps make it louder bc it echoes off the pavement
Dream truck
Needs windshield tint like the ole duramax
Illegal
next mod is getting rid of that headliner right
If u decide to do one of the stacks I’d find another hood so you don’t ruin yours and go hood stack. A clean rust free bed where I’m from sells for $2,000 so much cheaper to slap a hood on and have fun than deal with a 5 inch hole in the bed
Is just like Clifford obviously and also you should get new mud tires
Axel dumped my lbz with a 8 inch tip and it sounds so good 🥵
That red is screaming for black wheels
Hoodstackkkkkk the world
Can you please fix the passenger side headlight lol. It’s not straight
I'm going to put 7 inch Aussie bull haulers stacks on mine
Between the two definitely bed stack. Would suck to ruin the hood
I wish my frame looked that good 😭😭😭😭
8:09 who callin
get a tuner for her and make them herspurrs correctly and make a good 500 hp and 1000lb ft tq instead of doing cosmetics and looks the mechanical side of things is what i would love to see.
You should put chompers old oem radio in there
EeEhhh I think cutting the exhaust by the axle made the difference not the tip if you ask me.... clean truck tho and needs 5 inch tho....
9 blade turbo!!
