This is what I use at the bottom of my sugar gliders cage :) Feline Pine Pellets are KILN DRIED & help eliminate a lot of sugar glider odors from the cage!
Can be found at petco or petsmart!

Thanks so much for this video. I have female glider, the bedding I’ve been using it’s causes an order after a while. I have her cage in my room so smelling the urine,etc while sleeping then waking up to that oder can be unpleasant at times also her scratching the bottom I get pieces of bedding in there floor every morning, lol. So thank you! I just ordered a bag of feline pine the exact one you have. 👍

i use feline pine for my ferrets! great brand, ive very rarely (see: once) found any non-litter objects in it or have had bug related issues. great brand for pretty much any animal that can handle pine.

You can get a 40lb bag of pine pellets at tractor supply for $6.00 their for horses 😉

Can I use a bioactive substrate? Springtails, isopods, organic soil, leaf litter, sphagnum moss, wood coal, coconut husk chunks mixed together with cork bark for a hide? Has anyone tried this? Maybe could cover the top layer of the bioactive substrate with biodebradable packing paper with holes poked in it for isopods to feast on waste easier, keeping the gliders from reaching much of the substrate while also creating a dark spot for the isopods

I dont know if I missed it in the video but I have a cage where there is no bottom tray that is like separated from the bottom of the cage, and all the videos I found had this separation. Is there something that is suggestable for the bottom of a cage where they run on? I would prefer not to use pet pee pads since they are bad for the enviorement. (sorry english isnt my first language I hope this was understandable) I still have 3 months until I get my gliders but I dont want to so anything wrong. I really liked this video tho! you are super sweet
