got mine on monday and all cut off the runners and sanded ready for painting last night and planned to start painting this today. the molding on this kit is fantastic with it actually coming with decent panel line depths and not really requiring any touch up scribing. i came super close to picking a black for that dark blue though as until i read the manual i swore it was black lol. that gold is definitely "better" as you said but mine still has a ton of spots where two gate's flow collided and built up swirly color lines particularly in the area where the dragoons/fin funnels meet together. yours looks great snap built. this is definitely gonna look great up peoples shelves.
i noticed the plastic foil stickers are seemingly much thinner than the ones that came with schwarzette is that the case that they much more flexible/less rigid? seeing this i planned to paint the pink with a candy over chrome i think as i'd die if i put down most stickers fine and messed up one with wrinkles or misalignment lol.
one more thing, i know you use the modo thinner with the added retarder like i do but fyi the new line of Kaizo thinners that robot kai is carrying are awesome and work out even cheaper unless the modo is on a well discounted sale and as robot kai was the only place with modo at a good price and as they have no plans to restock it i doubt we will see modo thinner at $14/liter again. so far in testing the kaizo standard thinner levels as well or better than mr leveling or modo+retarder with less solvent pop than either and seems to be very very forgiving with application.
    keep the vids coming!

Awesome ,i really enjoyed this kit ,although i do use the modo thinner ,i have over a case of it still so i wont be buying any thinner anytime soon but i will try the Kazio next time ,i also if you want a awesome color for the dark blue part Gaia Blue Black is what i used for my MGEX build and it turned out fantastic and really gives the proper look of a dark blue that looks black in the light ,anyways thanks for the comment and watching my video this was kinda rushed but i tried a new format to see how i faired ,Thanks for the support i really appriciate it !
