IBO units are made to be like Wing series tallgeese(raw torque power) designed to fight off mobile armors that rely on beam weapons.

In the SF Type 2 vs Cal-Rea fight scene, one take that wasn't mentioned was how even if SF Dragoons were able to hit Cal-Rea Dragoons, it would be completely nullified given Cal-Rea Dragoons were also coated in Femto Technology making SF Type 2 Dragoons completely useless. Basically 80% of SF's arnament was rendered useless by Femto Technology. Also another info that was assumed was when SF Robbery incident happen, not only was SF data stolen but also Kira's battle data. That's why Kira has been strugling from multiple bombardments from suits, ships, drones, and missles which is his weakness. The foundation stregically planned all this out. In the case of Destiny and Infinite Justice, those barely had no problem given Foundation knows nothing about it's technology and Pilot battle data
actually, SF dragoon did not hit. calre.a dragoon avoided beam by an inch. that is because Orphe was able to read kiras mind and predicted it. Kiras dragoon never landed a hit on calre.a dragoon

Kira & SF is the perfect example of what Commissioner Gordon told Batman. The countermeasures effect. When you bring bullet proof armour, they will bring armour piercing round. Enemy make a correct call (basically) to study & adapt to Kira & SF patterns. They must learn it from Shinn & Ray 😃
Hmm, considering that Proud Defender was supposed to be a unmanned unit, but due to time frame,it hastily modified with manual control systems to allow for piloted operation from inside a makeshift cockpit, explaining lacus weird sitting pose; it only means that Kira can pilot Mighty Strike Freedom alone, it can use all of it's armaments without Co- pilot, with exception of Disruptor as it requires a permission to use..It was contrast to Black Knight Cal re.A, that it requires two pilots to operate at its full power..
I mean it still required Lacus activation code to use the head cannon but everything else can be done by him not sure about the 100 times multi lock on since it was Lacus doing that and not Kira.

I loved Seed Freedom but it was pretty hard to work out what was going on at times, especially when characters start teleporting into different suits in the final act. I feel sorry for anyone watching who's not familiar with the original shows as there is no accommodation made whatsoever and glad I read a low-spoiler synopsis first. The climactic 'Freedom vs everything' scene was visually awesome but the limited information given in-universe just made it feel like yet more Jesus Yamato beam spam. I'll enjoy the final showing in the UK even more now before the long wait for the blu-rays.

I'm a bit disappointed that Mighty Strike Freedom/Strike Freedom Type II has its Xiphias railguns revert back into Freedom style. I know it's more practical since the railguns now can mount the rifles, but the swiveling mechanism to rear skirt armor to mount beam rifles on side armors is just cooler IMO.
@@ZGMFXGN0042 it makes sense in terms of practicality. By mounting the rifles on railcannons, it saves more time than having to swivel back and forth. What I'm pointing out is when the HGCE MSF comes out, I can't just part swapping with HGCE SF to make bulkier version of SF.
I'm sad that the data books didn't say that the futsunomitama was made by the junk guild or with data from the junk guild. I feel that in the seed universe giant katanas should have a connection to Lowe Guele. He makes things a fighting style homage is not enough in my opinion.
I am an 00 fan myself but I don’t get why they consistently downplay mighty strike freedom. Like if you both series and the movies you would actually know that mighty has more win conditions than 00Q (not the els one ofc).

Probably Could! The IJ and SF are about 90% identical. Only difference is the backpacks and legs. The Justice has a tall sensor horn (now beam Sabre) because it serves as the command unit of the 2. But they are pretty much identical internally. Freedom is internally plated gold and IJ is internally silver.
The Proud Defender mobile striker pack needed a Zer02 OS. Don't forget the Glory Stargazer Striker pack with its Mirage Colloid Invisibility 16 Dragoons.
Why did they give it such a weird number this time? Why not just ZGMF X-20A Strike Freedom Spec II, and they maybe the A-262-PD-P for the Mighty Strike Freedom?
This was great, as a Western fan who isn't able to see the movie yet I couldn't wrap my head around the proud defender add-on. Just based on the images I'd seen online, it was unclear if it even had DRAGOONs or other systems, so to me it came off as simply as a downgrade and a gimmick to get Lacus on the battlefield. After hearing about all these new capabilities, the Mighty Strike Freedom has catapulted much higher on my personal mecha tier list.
What i confused is....how can be SF based what have jet-fighter-a-like cockpit shape became 360° ball monitoring cockpit like Unicorn with still have cockpit entrance like SF....😮

The spec 1 strike freedom handicaps itself when it holsters its rifles because its rail guns have to swivel to the back. It cannot crouch if it holsters its rifles. It cannot use its rail guns when it uses its sabers. Please consider in your analysis cause for me this is a big design flaw. This shows their focus is on form vs function. Its not even well designed aesthetically.
Not a fan of the overall look of the unit .The chest section could be white or even blue. Otherwise, pretty cool mobile suit. Huge fan of the original ZGMF-X10A Freedom suit. Looking forward to the movie.
These are amazing and very appealing artistically but the cockpit stuff doesn't make any sense even in SEED. Logically it makes no sense to have them sit side by side specifically, that part looked really weird.

Mighty Strike Freedom is not on par with 00 quan[t] or even 00 Raiser. The thing can turn it self into GN particles which the strike freedom can't even the head cannon isn't as strong as what the 00 quant can do which was cut open a moon or planet.

I think the mighty strike freedom weakness is it requires two people to activate it. The electric attack seems more like an emp wave attack since if I recall Cal-re A wasn't affected by it and the dragoons just fell and didn't blow up same with those ships.

Though Riser can Quantum shift but it has No tools to break MSF Shield while MSF can just spam its AOE attacks set it to random it will hit riser and quant, if you think Riser Sword is an option, do you seriesly think Kira is just gonna sit still for him to hit him? Plus Riser and Quant would be in very vulnerable state if it use Riser sword. The only ver of 00 that can beat MSF would be 00 Quant ELS
Ngl this new freedom design is very disappointing. It only looks semi nice in the movie because of the overwhelming particle effects. I bet its gunpla will look very mid compared to OG freedom who was peak design.

Bruh, Freedom alone could probably turn Barbatos Lupus Rex into slag metal.
Compared to other series, IBO gundams actually at the lower end of spectrum, even gundams from early UC era could easily overpower barbatos.
Proud defender is aesthetically better to S-Freedom than the usual black & blue Dragoon wing.
It definitely does match the golden inner frame better.

These are amazing and very appealing artistically but the cockpit stuff doesn't make any sense even in SEED. Logically it makes no sense to have them sit side by side specifically, that part looked really weird.
I think it just a passenger seat, that's why it has no physical controllers although the passenger can make some controls by touching the panoramic screen

Mighty Strike Freedom is not on par with 00 quan[t] or even 00 Raiser. The thing can turn it self into GN particles which the strike freedom can't even the head cannon isn't as strong as what the 00 quant can do which was cut open a moon or planet.
00 qant is way to op to even be called a gundam(same with Turn A) that thing can cut a moon sized body in half
@@kennethmendoza1350 I would even say Unicorn and wing zero because wing zero beam riffle can destroy a colony in one hit. I think the mighty strike freedom weakness is it requires two people to activate it. The electric attack seems more like an emp wave attack since if I recall Cal-re A wasn't affected by it and the dragoons just fell and didn't blow up same with those ships.

Though Riser can Quantum shift but it has No tools to break MSF Shield while MSF can just spam its AOE attacks set it to random it will hit riser and quant, if you think Riser Sword is an option, do you seriesly think Kira is just gonna sit still for him to hit him? Plus Riser and Quant would be in very vulnerable state if it use Riser sword. The only ver of 00 that can beat MSF would be 00 Quant ELS

i think Miighty Strike Freedom isn't greater than standard Strike Freedom, it doesnt have voiture lumiere so it is much slower than standard Strike Freedom and it never fight 2 black knight squad once a time, if it fight both shi-ve a and cal-re a, MSF will be destroyed faster than strike freedom
