Your advice on simply using (Cerave) moisturizer, 50 SPF sunscreen and a retinoid (and a hydrating, not foaming, cleanser) has totally changed my face from dry/tired looking to just more hydrated and overall yay! :P Thanks again! Awesome content that actually helps people!
I really wanted to try CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser but then I saw in the ingredients list it has salicylic acid !! Like why?! Don’t they already have a SA cleanser? Why would they add that ingredient when their original non-foaming does not have it. My skin purges non-stop and gets itchy and red when I use SA. Maybe the percentage of SA is weak in the cream-to-foam cleanser but I rather not take a chance.
My mom is currently using ammonium lactate 12% for her keratosis pilaris. It’s taking a while to see results. Her skin gets itchy and a little irritated after application. No swelling. Doesn’t seem to worsen the skin condition. Seems to be a brief temporary effect. Is that normal? Should she continue using and mix with another moisturizer or use it less frequently?
Hey dr your opinion on the ordinary hair density serum for hair regrowth on temples? Can't use minoxidil due to my tachycardia issue I'm Pakistani, mentioning in case hair type matters
Very unlikely. Although they have two options like hydrating oil cleanser and foam to cream, none of those can remove some waterproof makeup. But I guess those two can remove waterproof sunscreen easily. Cerave oil cleanser is basically a single step cleanser unlike asian double cleansers like oil and then gentle lol. Except those two products CeraVe never mentioned any other cleansers as makeup remover. I would recommend you to use Neutrogena hydro boost water gel cleanser instead because it's more hydrating, doesn't feel striping.
