I have very dry skin from taking Accutane for my cystic acne. No complaints because the Accutane got rid of it! I also have rosacea and occasional eczema outbreaks on my face. I have to be careful not to use products with fragrance, alcohol, witch hazel, and anything else that might irritate my skin. And also stay well moisturized.
So I can tell you what I use: Vanicream cleanser on my face, neck, and upper back, and it does remove the makeup I use except sometimes there will be a little eye shadow left. Cerave hydrating toner. Paula's Choice Skin Recovery moisturizer in warmer weather, and their Clinical Ultra Rich moisturizer in colder weather.
In the morning, for SPF on top of a PC moisturizer, I use either the Paula's Choice Essential Glow moisturizer, or, if my skin is very dry, I use that just around my eyes and use the Eucerin Daily Hydration cream with SPF 30 on my face and neck. I also use the Daily Hydration on my body.
At night, I use either of the PC moisturizers, and layer Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream (fragrance free) on my face, and then either Vanicream cream or Aquaphor, depending on how cold and dry the weather is. I use some Aquaphor on top of a PC moisturizer around my eyes at night year round - I don't use eye cream.
I don't use any actives such as retinol or alpha hydroxy acids because my dermatologist advised me not to. If you don't have rosacea or sensitive skin, YMMV on this one.
Paula's Choice also sells good cleansers and toners for dry skin. I like those products, but I was able to find cheaper products that work for me.

Thanks for the video, Cassandra! My favorite Paula's Choice dry skin moisturizer (Skin Recovery) keeps going up in price and is now $35 for 2 oz. The Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides Moisturizer is $22.50 for 3.4 oz which is a LOT cheaper. I'm thinking that maybe when I use up my PC moisturizer, I might try a tube of this.
I have super dry skin and apply a lot of moisturizer to my face and neck. If I can find a product that will work as well or almost as well for me as the PC Skin Recovery does, I'll switch.
And thanks for reminding everyone to apply their sunscreen!!!

Just fyi for anyone who feels inflamed, irritated or dry after using HA. We naturally have HA in our bodies, they are used to activate inflammatory cells to help with wound healing so blood can be directed towards pain or wound. However, by constantly putting Hyaluronic acid on your skin, it can cause you skin to constantly flare up because of it, which is why people are sometimes worried about low-molecular weight HA, because it goes deeper into your skin and can be more prone to inflammation. Another thing is, HA doesn't penetrate your skin deep enough to hydrate your skin adequately, even as humectant, it's not one of the best. So if you ever feel drying, it might be why, as HA doesn't hydrate in any sense, it could help "hold" in water, but is not the strongest at doing it. One of the reasons why it's so popular is because it's cheap, so companies can just shove it into any formula and claim a list of benefits it can provide, when it won't necessarily all of it, it's more a marketing strategy than anything. If you want something similar, but that will be more efficient, look possibly at polyglutamic acid, snow mushroom or glycerin, they are usually better performing and can provide more hydration than HA can. Dr. Shereene Idriss (a dermatologist) talks about it on her channel
