  • In his TEDxMahtomedi presentation, “The Chemistry of Happiness”, Dale describes how by acting as if we are happy, our internal pharmacy can change our body’s chemistry to make us actually feel happy.
For over 50 years Dale Anderson, M.D., has practiced as a board certified surgeon and emergency physician. In 2001 Dr. Dale became certified and a founding diplomat of the American Board of Holistic Medicine. He calls himself a Dramatologist and his friends call him Dr. Happy, Dr. WELLderly, and the Aged Sage of the Vintage Stage. Basic science discounts anecdotal information or at best tries to prove or disprove things with something more rigorous. I think stress, for which we know more about in relation to disease, would be a better indicator as happiness is a little harder to define. happiness and health are probably correlated but to establish cause and effect takes more than a TED talk.

There are laughter clubs of old age people in India who practice laughing without a reason every morning in parks and public places.

Only "chemistry" part of this speech was that he said this word multiple times. The speech was interesting though but I'm just letting you know
