    Symbolically you could call the Blade of Chaos a weapon of destruction, the Leviathan Axe a weapon of love, and the Spear a weapon of wisdom.

    • @hansalanson3497
      @hansalanson3497 2 ปีที่แล้ว +227

      This was somewhat true considering what transpired.
      The Blades of Chaos were important in reigniting Surtr's monstrous self, thus enabling Asgard's destruction and Ragnarok fulfillment.
      The Leviathan Axe was made specifically to counterbalance Mjolnir, and in the final battle against Thor after both weapons clash rapidly, Kratos urged Thor to forgo the needles violence for the sake of their love for their respective children.
      Daupnir in many ways, was a key to get through the tricky parts of the prophecy, from how it is vital in defeating Heimdall and Odin, and how it confirms Kratos' own place in the grand scheme of Ragnarok.

      Kid Buu was weaker than Super Buu, and generally wanted to just blow shit up, and destroy everything
      Though Super Buu was stronger, Kid Buu was more dangerous cause he was unchained
      Same case with Kratos, He's way stronger and he doesnt pull his punches, but he isnt as relentless, which is what Thor was trying to beat back into him, and even going "clever wont beat me"

    I like how otherworldly they make the Ladys powers look. Brok and Sindri have to craft the weapons and armor to the descriptions and what they observe of the characters. The Lady, however, can sense what she has to make for the person she is interacting with. That is both top quality storytelling and world building.

    • @herpderp3916
      @herpderp3916 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I love her little expressions and nuances while she's doing it too. She has this sort of look like "Let's see here...oh, interesting materials...hm, yes, I have a good idea for these....ah-ha!" while she's forming the spear, and when she takes his blood she shows some distaste for the war-symbol but approval for the symbol of Kratos' general ranking. Without saying a word she still comes off as a keen, intelligent craftsman.

    Something that really sticks out to me about this scene beyond Kratos acknowledging Brok as a great blacksmith, despite his deficit, is the apparent surprised look on the Lady’s face when she sees Kratos’s blood. First we see the symbol of Olympus, indicating Kratos’s Olympian heritage, then the symbol of Sparta, indicating he is also a Spartan. And that’s when the spear gains the red sash. Now, I find it kind of interesting how the draupnir spear is gold with a red sash on it, almost like it had Kratos as its master before it was even forged.

    So, if I get it right, the reason the Lady wanted Kratos' blood was to bind Draupnir Spear to him so any of its abilities and manifestation-disappearance could be triggered by will. It's quite the circle; the Blades were given to him by a cruel master and are cursed to be with him while his final obtained weapon, which is the first weapon type he ever trained with, was given via the efforts of and officially blessed by a friend.

Gives me chills just thinking about him telling her even God will be cut if he should stand in the way of her justice and vengeance.
