No the scribe is unique in it's own right and scribe can't look at certain textbook formats like the fire tablet family can. In writing though once again the scribe is a replacement to paper white and notebook but the oasis is still the go to just book reader. The fire is the go to textbook reader and magazine, news paper etc.
