The only Black Ops 2 mission I could never beat.
I love the intro to this mission. It just tells us so much about Menendez in a minute.
What’s better or worse, is that alot of his backstory is true.
The contras were terrible people who were no better than terrorists. Also, the quake in 72 indeed killed thousands of people and made many homeless without anything.
Furthermore, poverty and starvation makes people desperate for money, and that’s also the main reason why cartel bosses like Pablo Escobar became so powerful and somewhat idolized in some countries. Escobar for example build dozens of apartments and gave them away for free to the poor which made him extremely famous.
Treyarch really did their homework for this game.

Mason was born in 1933, while Woods was born in 1930 and Hudson in 1932. I always found it odd how Mason and Woods both didnt look a day over 30 in their late 50's and were at the same time running around the world like fricking athletes at that age. Hudson makes more sense in that regard, but Bo2 butchered his character anyway, so yeah

I never understood how he survived. When it came to Woods, I always thought that the way he survived was he managed to use Kravchenko as a human shield who absorbed much of the explosion.

I always used to rock the Uzi with rapid fire/extended mags and spray that while riding the horse....god, I loved this mission. Wish the entire campaign was with the BO1 cast in the 80s.

@@Deathmare235 Nothing beats World At War and Black Ops 1. Black Ops 1 had the best cod story and characters, while WaW was also really underrated and also very important since Dimitri and Reznov are main characters in that game.

Even in MGSV roaming around Afghanistan on a horse feels so soothing.
