Creepiest part about this mission is that you don’t see Menendez’ Rampage from an outside perspective
All you see is him Walking into the Barn and that’s it

I think that was added for gameplay purposes only. You can see him carrying the gun when you are playing as Mason but Menendez is in fact a one man army.
Legend has it, Menendez still hasn't reloaded to this day.

Oh....Well....Unless you've killed the people in the drug lab....That would be bad even if they were involved in something illegal. Not to mention they were unarmed. Though for the Cartel, you don't have to feel bad. Although as Menendez, you killed PDFs who were showing harm to the villagers who had nothing to do with anything. So I guess....twice of killing the PDF for payback if you look at it that way....along with revenge for having to....feel forced in doing so. A bit morbid of me to say, but in the end....just remember it was a game you were playing, not real.

I know Menendez was raging like a beat and was seeing red but let's be honest, Woods was seeing the same thing and was probably feeling even more rage than Menendez himself. Often in the military you form a bond with your men tighter than your blood relatives. And Menendez tortured and murdered all of Wood's team. If you actually go through the mission normally at the end, Woods is powering right through everybody like Menendez was. Like I know how much Menendez loves his sister but Woods would have completely fucked him up. Hell he even flinches in fear when Woods started shooting despite powering through everybody. Even MASON of all people was shocked.

I think I figured out who was in Angola with Woods. Weaver, Sims, Park, Rivas, Baker, Adler,etc. all from Cold War which makes sense as to why we don't hear them in Black Ops 2. Hell if Bowman survived Black Ops 1, he would of then died in Angola with Woods.

Well there was also how his country entered in a cruel time during the Cold War, the only way to make money fast that brings heat of course, and pretty much how he lost his entire family. It was more than one, but it was the only reason left.

Menendez live a poor life with his sister and one day an America own property was burned down for $11,000 in fraud which resulted in his sister with severe burns. This fuels his hate for Americans. His sister dying was push over the edge.

To quote that PDF soldier in his room, Menendez was fucking crazy in this mission. I dunno if it's because of the difficulty I played on when I played this as a kid, but Menendez was REALLY hard to kill here. I remember a time where I just stood around where enemies were and let them try to kill me, and I think the screen had flashed red about three times, maybe even more, before I finally DID drop dead (without grenades involved btw). Albeit in his rageful state, Menendez is probably the most resilient character in the franchise (at least out of the playable ones). Makes me wish more that we actually got to fight him; I can just imagine how hectic the fight between him and Section would've been.

I just realized that the spas 12 run animation during the Menéndez section the the level is identical to the one used in mw3
Well there's been cut contents involving ported weapons...And Modern Warfare was using some familiar names for the naming algorithm...So I guess each one has been using one another....until Online, Mobile, and a crossover in Black Out for only Price.
Bo2 and mw3 had close development cycles, so it’s possible the devs from Sledgehammer and Treyarch shared assets
I really enjoyed this storyline, but it always bothered me about this game that Ed Harris didn’t come back to play Hudson...

Hey I noticed something! If you listen very closely at 3:19-3:20, you can hear the same scream that Menendez made when he got stabbed for the second time (in the shoulder) by David Mason. If you still don't hear it, try listening to it with earphones.

Yea these minor details are there missing but still, doest cost the game any value because nostalgia and especially since its not that noticeable even after the many playthrus I had back then. (I used to really explore different outcomes in the games I played like failure states, maps, endings and stuff but never really payed attention to these, especially in that adrenaline rage during the game).
Tbf if Woods shot Menendez Hudson would be short as well
