Can we just take a moment to see how beautifully this campaign was put together. The past stories and the future, how the mission when u interrogate kravchenko at the starts links masterfully with this. A potential mole in the CIA which caused all of this. BO1 and BO2 were pieces of beautiful art that treyarch made. The creativity and imagination to make these two superb campaigns is unbelievable. Truly the era of gaming. RIP 2008-2013. Best era of gaming.

Yeah as much as I love blops 2 they really fucked up Hudson’s character. Blops 1 Hudson and blops 2 Hudson are like two different characters. In 1 he was a badass in his own right and stood by mason when everyone else had given up on him, and even accompanied mason to take down Dragovich. Meanwhile weaver backed down at almost every critical point.
And in blops 2 Hudson is just kinda there, not really serving any purpose. I agree with Alexdeghost Weaver would’ve fit the role for a mole better.

I'm shocked they actually did a mission set during Operation Just Cause. I really hope we get a future Call of Duty set in the Cold War, for there's so much they could do:
-The Korean War
-More of the Vietnam War
-The Invasion of Grenada
-The uprising of Nicaragua with the Contras
-The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, where we get to play as muslim rebels.
-More of Operation Just Cause
-AC130s started use since Vietnam, so they could throw an AC130 mission in as well, and use it as a killstreak
-In fact, why not shake things up and add some missions where we're playing as the Communists. See the Cold War through their eyes.

I wasn't really listening to the last half of the mission. But when Hudson said shoot him in the head, I did what an average 12 yr old kid would do, the opposite.
I mean if you paid attention during the scenes (Woods remembering what Kravchenko told him) you pretty much knew something was wrong
I had older cousins say that it wasn’t what you thought it was, and so i decided not to take the head shot, I took the hip-area shot. I didn’t know to take the leg shot. He still lives tho...

I think everyone was like "alright let's kill Menendez *headshot*" and then "wait a second, it cannot be him because he's still alive in the future" and when the music starts, noriega smiles and woods is getting nervous, you just realize "Noooo I just shot Mason :( "
RedCointMaster No, I actually considered about shooting the 2 guys restraining him. Because, there's no way there can be a deal so good as someone brings Mennedez out for you to shoot him from afar but needs to cover his face. Rather, why sniping him? He's restrained. It's way too obvious. But well, it's a game, need to stick with its story line. So, final answer, shoot the guy in the middle. After that: MA-freaking-SON, what the hell? Yeah, I didn't think it was Mason. So that last part is true to me too.

I was just playing on my cousin's PC from where he let off which is just before this mission, since mine is strictly works, can't play games, it's too old for that. And well, his family went to live overseas now, I can never find it out myself. My guess though, if we shoot the 2 other guys, Mason would get shot in the head by Menendez.

You should never shoot someone in the head unless your 100% positive its the real target. This applies to games and real life. After remembering what Kravchenko said, and not being able to see the guy's face, I shot him in the leg.

When Woods was captured, he had a grenade and a knife on his vest he could have used the knife to stab Mendez in his no no place, and stab him in the throat but realistically Menendez can be stronger and take that pain better than anyone and still kill woods so that’s why I see the reason why he didn’t do that and how he would’ve escaped he would have to crawl up the stairs to escape if Menendez died, but David could help him
