I only get Ford OEM parts for jobs like this because you only want to do this once. He's already paid the other guy $2000,00 to screw it up. It's costing more due to so many aftermarket parts thrown at it to try to fix it and not sending the O.E. parts back with the truck. Thanks Ed!
That's a lot of work to do it twice. I think the problem with these phasers is crap oil. Ford specs too thin for fuel economy. Try a synthetic 5w40 like Fuchs.
The pin would break on the original part but the aftermarket parts just don’t work out of the box. Is the first start video on Gus coming soon? Thanks Jason!
@@rodneymiddleton9624 My brothers truck was noisy when he bought it. I threw 5w40 in it, not only did it go quiet but still going! Start video coming....Short 4 fine thread manifold nuts I can get until tomorrow. Canadian Thanksgiving today.
This is the worst designed engine that Ford has ever made. I’m sure somehow they could’ve upped the power in the 2V 5.4. But unfortunately they ruined the perfectly good 2V 5.4 with this junky engine.

Bet a lot of them mess up the torque ford says 30 then pluse 90 degrees most after market stuff says 90ft pounds there not tight enough
