Best Doctor. Without his hard work on that first series we'd never be where we are now. For what he put himself through, we should be eternally greatful. He really was ... fantastic.
I love how Ecclestone is jittery and nervous as he picks up a phone that shouldn't be ringing as though it's about to explode, hides how scared he is by cheerfully saying "Hello? This is the Doctor speaking. How may I help you?" and then turns deadly serious when he hears the word "Mummy".
@@EditedAF987Most of their episodes are missing, so it's kind of hard to say for certain, although going by what we do have, yeah I'd agree that they're in close competition.
“Nice to meet you Rose! Run for your life!!” First episode I saw, that was the moment I knew he was such a great character. Sad Eccleston didn’t get but one season, but for the amount of time he played the Doctor… he was fantastic!
I think it's better if the occasional line of dialogue refers to an adventure we never get to see. It's important to maintain the Doctor's sense of mystery.
It’s odd to watch him, now knowing he was the very NEXT regeneration after the war doctor. This man must be dealing with all kinds of inner turmoil over the belief he ended his entire species. Like damn the context just reaffirms him as my fav

He looked at the Eye of London four times before he saw what Rose saw. Fantastic. Then when that Dr. Constantine's face transformed into a gas mask . . . terrifying.
He's the best of the New Who Doctors. Matt Smith is my favourite but his overall era wasn't as good. Chris Ecclestone's era was as close to perfection as New Who ever got.
i really wish he had kept the cat from the start of The Empty Child, it would've been a fantastic companion. It could even have been turned into a gasmask zombie and then the stakes go up exponentially.

Ah yes, who could forget the hilarious moment when that doctor was forcibly deformed against his will, choking and dying as his face turned into a gas mask? And that eviction scene, an absolute riot!
i think for the gas mask one, it was to show the reference when 10 asked the general “are you my mummy?”! and as for the eviction scene i think the funny part was supposed to be *after* when he was being snarky about it and all/g
You missed.. From Unquiet Dead.. "Now don't antagonise her.. I love a happy medium" And where the Doctor tries to speak to Margaret and we hear the tea cup smash

Barney Powell Birch - love that quote 😂😂😂
Best moment in all of DW
"That'll never work, he's gay and she's an alien"
You never really know do you.
I know better.
Still the best line
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman 🤣
"good evening, i'm a lizard Woman from the Dawn of time and this ist my wife"
How does he know that?
"Don't drop the banana!"
"Why?!"
"Good source of potassium!"
That line was a killer! XD
Whenever I see the ninth doctor I just think of the word fantastic
Or run
Sums him up pretty well too, everyone talks about Tennant mostly, but Eccleston did a great job of starting up after the reboot
Fantastic
He was the best
*Fantastic*
An underrated doctor and a very short lived one at that.
not really short lived if you count books and comics and audio he lived for 100 years compared to 10 who only lived 6 at most
I'm always surprised just how quickly it comes to an end when rewatching his episodes. And the end is always sad.
Nobody:
9th Doctor: Ah, the appearance of a repeated meme. I give you air from my lungs.

You clever bastard. you absolute genius XD
Wow, never realised he said meme even though I've watched this episode like 10 times
isnt it adherents? that's what it says in one of the BBC books

I’ve always wondered how much the crew were trying not to laugh when Christopher Eccleston was pretending to be strangled by a plastic arm.

man there will never be a trio as iconic as Jack, Rose and the Doctor
I beg to differ with the Doctor and the Ponds, but I do love this trio
Don't forget Mickey.
Yeah this all aged like milk-
8:19 “900 years of time and space and I’ve never been slapped by someone’s mother”
Yes that does tend to happen 😂
Whenever I see that scene with Ten & Martha's mother I think of that moment. Hehe.

Nobody had Rose-Jack-Doctor's synergy in that show.
The ponds and the doctor

"Funny moments" *starts video with doomsday song* Thanks for that mate 😭😅
This is the doctor theme not doomsday
9 and 10 are so iconic in my opinion Favourite lines are “fantastic” and “Are you my mummy”
I love that David saying the "Are you my Mummy?" Line was because he forgot his next line. LoL. So.iconic now.
When he says the assembled hordes of Ghengis Khan couldn't get through the Tardis's doors and have tried i just want to see what led to it happening

and that's on the 9th doctor being the best and most underrated doctor
my favorite part was with christopher eclesson
Although his time on the show was short, I can safely say that Christopher Eccleston's Doctor is one of my favorite Incarnations of the character.
At 5:21 it sounds like the doctor says”ahh, the appearance of the repeated meme”. Also the doctor is a literal god because he can literally teleport and appear out of no where
i mean he did say ah the appearance of the repeated meme
Isnt that what he said?
Guys the reason I get confused is cuz I wouldn’t expect the doctor or a species having the word meme in it
I agree, he's definitely a god.
@@AiRsTrIkExXzZ i think that's, adherents of the repeated mean
He might not be as popular as David Tennant but we still love him
Loved this version of the Doctor just wishing we had more time with him in the TARDIS
I always liked how Ninth Doctor was not over-dramatic or too quirky. He was humorous, but it came across as natural.
“Steak and chips”
*smiles like an excited child*
That slap was so hilarious, and it will always remain an iconic scene.
10 is great. He does deserve praise for being a favorite. But 9 is fantastic! He's extremely underrated
Very underrated Doctor. He doesn’t get enough recognition.

i love how they hint other episodes from back then, need to be a truly dedicated to see those. back when doctor who got a natural sense of humour..
If only Capaldi had the writers Eccleson and Tenant did.
Joseph Lankford agreed.
Heaven sent, twice upon a time, mummy on the orient express, the husband's of river song, the doctor falls
Russel T Davis would of written good seasons with Capaldi
Blue_Panda agreed. He would’ve saved Capaldi’s Doctor from being so bloody awful!
hot head 93 Does gaming are you crazy? Capaldi was awful!
'Nice to meet you Rose.' *shakes device* 'Run for your life.'
My favorite part is how you can hear everything else going on in the room where they were recording these clips.

Same with the appearance of a repeated meme.

So many porn comics
