Then there are the MB security features, programable seat settings, illuminated star (at night it’s the coolest thing ever), sun/moon roof with retractable sheath, and other features. The car corners on a dime. Try this trick: Get into your A220 and go to an empty parking lot, set a quarter down outside of the driver’s door on the ground, cut the wheel all the way to the left, drive in a full circle and stop right back in the same spot at which you left the quarter. Open your door, and the quarter will literally be exactly where you left it. In other words, the car corners so tight that it drives a perfect 360 degree circle. I have owned BMW’s as well as MB. Have you had any issues with the car? I’ve been thinking of getting this one
5:20 lol I like how you miss the exhaust.
You could use the Twinkies of Truth to check for fake vents now Joe 😂😂
Please do Amg A35 sedan 4 Automatic review
Definitely have to do the amg a35 sedan
Hey Joe! Which one would you pick - A220 or Audi A3 (2021) ??
Wait till next year when the new Audi a3 comes out
I’m thinking about trading in my 2018 Acura TLX V6 with this. I’m debating on the pros and cons. My only concern with the TLX is the sluggish ZF 9 transmission and not sure about its long term reliability.
You have very good concerns!
Great vid! I love how the engine sounds while you were increasing speed! 👌🏾
Can u do seat leon FR 2020 review?
Ford threw in the towel, and so did Chrysler while GM decided to give us a half baked reply with the Ats. Tesla seem to be the only one willing to giving these foreign automakers a hard time
Best review of all time
Hi, how is the overall road noise levels with those 45 series tires?.
Have you done a Volvo S60 R-Design? AWD with Polestar (hint hint)?
Fingers crossed I should be reviewing one soon!
I'd take it to a muffler shop and have those exhaust tips made functional.
The cup holders in the back look cheap, no extra tire and the back of the seats look cheap as well. Time to look for another one.
Wonder if the waterpump will go out at 45k like on my cla250
Where does the CLA250 fit into their product line now?
It's larger.
Are you sure that's the same car you drove in the video, if so why the rust still on the rotors a the end of the video
10000%
What's up with all that rust on the break disk?
It was sitting outside overnight. Just on the surface.
@@RaitisRides Ah. It was a little weird to see, I am watching another review of yours on the Mercedes E class and it has the same rusty break disks.
It is the c8 of the subcompact class
This car does *not* do 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds. It does 0-60 mph in about 7.1 seconds. And the engine is not designed or built by Mercedes-Benz. It was designed and built by Renault (as is the diesel engine for this model, too).
Thanks for the info.
heard good things about this, was thinking between this or the base model tesla 3 for my wife.
They are really great!
I really like that blue!
🤔same price as a Golf R. Which way to go?
the doughnut joke may have sold me 😂😂😂😂😂
Nice well equipped car , so much space for little car.
I am so glad that you like this one.
Would you do a review on the Volvo XC90?
I am trying to track one down.
If they dropped the price to 33k and included the hatch variant from UK and Europe, it would be worth the price
Good idea!
$45k is way too expensive for an entry level sedan like this, sadly. Even though everything looks great and performs better than most subcompacts... I get the sense that you should just spend a little more and get a bigger Mercedes product.
Agree, engine is disappointing and looks like a rental car. MB is smart with the CLA and A class, important to gain young buyers. But real Benz starts at the higher classes.
Mike you got any recommendation on which Mercedes sedan is best worth the price ?
@@jnrocktx I wouldn’t say it’s that bad, but yes it’s not as useful as it looks. But this is for people who want to get a feel of being a Mercedes user. Best for first time merc buyers .
Joe, would you prefer a Golf-R or this car? Yes, they’re different but they are the same price point.
