- I failed to mention in this video how I had reached out to mini motors about a refund, if they would fix it etc.. Minimotors gaslighted Me and said I kept implying I didn't understand the settings. They said they have no complaints and im the only one with an issue. This was the worst scooter experience I've ever had. Update they still will not return it or consider a return because they said they’ve never had a customer have this issue. They keep stating how every customer loves there’s and I don’t understand the settings. They’ve literally been gaslighting me and treating me as if I’m stupid because the scooter is performing horribly. It keeps overheating and throwing itself into eco mode even though it’s 50 degrees out. I hope I can get just one person to to listen to this review so they don’t have to experience this.

@@thomasK411 sorry for the late response. But that’s true. I never understood how to I took it to the shop and they maxed out everything for me. I tried it for about 5 minutes it’s to intense I leave mine on full power but on Eco mode. Fastest I’ll do is 48 that’s enough lol

I'm not sure but you should take care of lithium batteries a little better. Should fully charge it as soon as you get it in fully charge it before every Ride along with cold weather.Probably having a lot to do with it. But you should easily get 30-50 miles.cold weather will drain it fast.
So you think not charging a scooter right out of the box should be a reason for it to never work correctly again ?
Sounds like you used a 72V peak charger on your 84V peak battery.
I used what was shipped in the box and made for the scooter
@@thomasK411 because in the video I can see your voltage at 71 when you said you'd only gone a few miles, perhaps it was a faulty charger.

@xorbe2 thats good to know !! I wish I went through fluidfreeride and got a nami klima. My sister has one and it beat this dualtron in a race to 30mph everytime. Half the price as well and much lighter

@sulemanhuleman5120 If my review swayed you from not getting the dualtron thunder 3 then my video did it's purpose. 20 emails back and forth with them and they did absolutely nothing but gaslight me. You'll love the nami, my sisters nami klima is stupid fast. I can't imagine the burn e2 max. Inmotion rs looks impressive as well !

@@thomasK411 because it’s like anything else, something can go wrong and it needs to be fixed. Dualtron didn’t popularize dual motor electric scooters and become one of the biggest brands in the space by everyone having experiences similar to yours. I know a lot of people at my local scooter shop that have Dualtron thunder 1 and 2 frames with over 5K miles on them and no major issues. You’re the type of person to buy a Porsche and then the moment there’s one imperfection with it mechanically suddenly it’s “oh I would never buy that piece of shit again”. Learn that not everything comes perfect

7:13 yes you eat battery. try slower LOL i not even know what turbo button do there is no effect. it should be 1wheel safe batter using rear moror and use 2 motor eat battery like other models
$4000 for 30 miles range waste of money, you can buy loads of scooters now that give you better range for under $2000
I couldn’t agree more !!! That’s why I want people to see this video !! Spread the word. Also the description goes more into detail. People saying mini motors USA has good customer service have never tried to return their scooter. Minimotors is aware of this and they honestly don’t care.

You guys are wrong if scooters have the same size battery then they must be equal, the only thing the separates them is how they empty the battery, meaning either capacity in the battery is used for speed based on the motor size and the rgb lights. I have the original dualtron thunder with the 35ah battery which is suppose to get you 40-50miles they say but that would be in eco mode on gear 1 and the rbg lights off. So what I’m saying is the complete distance obtained off one single full battery charge is dependent on all the lights off eco mode and gear because under 20-15mph is the driving factor for battery conservation along with the temperature outside. If it’s cold the battery also decreases faster! The new dualtron 3 has more rbg lights and a bigger motor and magnet in the motor. I see you ride on gear 5 and have your lights on that will kill your battery.

It sounds like you’re possibly upset that my dual Tron was extremely disappointing, but yours is good. I’m glad you enjoy your Voltron, but unfortunately mine did not live up to any of the expectations and I’m super happy I sold and got rid of it.
4:42 what my ears hear LOL its sold 100miles range LOL yes if ride slow like 20kmh like speed limit is from factory with all settings slow and 50kg chinese guy or test bench air spin. my ultra v2 go 120km i bought thunder 3 just to get 170km and range on screen say 100km LOL its like 100% 100km. first thought its error it 100miles xD
Sounds like that you just have a faulty scooter MiniMotors definitely should replace this scooter
Exactly the issue is mini motors is straight up gaslighting me and telling me I don’t know what I’m doing and that’s why I’m having issues kind of like the people on these comments if you read them. Scooter companies won’t do this generally.

Issues since day 2 being they shipped it at 17 percent battery and it needed to charge for a full day
The weight of this scooter was the single biggest reason why I chose to buy the thunder II instead. Thunder 2 has (I think) the same exact speed and power. It's 72V40AH. My thunder 2 can easily get into the 50's. It easily out-paces cars in almost any road. I also don't love having dual headlights in the front. I just think it looks kinda weird...and I DON'T ride at night...so they're pretty much useless to me anyways. But the thunder 3 weighs like over 120 pounds...that's like 35 pounds more than the thunder 2. You can't carry it. I don't quite get why they made it so much heavier. And again, the power is the same. So it's more expensive, weighs more, and looks kinda funy....I'd go with the thunder 2 instead (which is what I did). Minimotors website also advertises the thunder 3 as being waterproof, which again, is useless to me because I don't ride in the rain because the roads get wet and it's too dangerous. So, another useless feature.

The thing is that the thunder 2 has sqaure wave controllers unlike the thunder 3s sine wave which makes a pretty huge difference also other major differences like screen

I like your personality subscribed! One thing i wanted to point out about that scooter is due be careful how fast your going and hitting a pothole or something harsh on the road. The reason why is because that folding mechanism is same design as my supreme so like that little cylinder silver pin can crack. Though i havent heard from anyone happening to there dualtron thunder 3 but just dont be surprised if it does happen. On my teverun supreme that little cylinder pin cracked in half 3 times so im not gonna keep calling MiniMotorsUSA for that stupid replacement part. But anyways im getting a nanrobot LS7+ 72volt I think is just as quick as the kaboo GTR because i seen a drag race. But im definitely gonna be taking off quicker because of my weight and becauee im a short guy i weigh about 154 lbs. The scooter should arrive around may i havent gotten a confirmation yet on the arrival. But anyways my guy love your review about this scooter and due be careful if you go very fast lol.
Appreciate that a lot man ! Yes it is sketchy going that fast ! I enjoyed my sisters Nani joins more than this to be honest. The support from mini motors as in the description was awful

So therefore I will probably never buy a dualtron and they are not that fast also overpriced. As far as to what this man is saying about this scooter he should of gotten a nami burn e-2 max hands down lol.
But yea i knew a while ago to me not worth that 4k on this scooter tho does have the looks. But another thing too i see is pretty ridiculous how you have to change the cartridges to adjust suspension adjustment. Its okay to do it on the back but heard its harder to change onnthe front. But yea thats one thing too why im not a fan of dualtrons, you would of bern better of buying the nami burn e-2 max brotha lol.
Believe me it's worth that's why they cost a lot I had the thunder 2 i put 12000 miles on it . Then I sold it for 2 grand

Tried to return in second day and they wouldn't do a return ot even fix it. They kept gaslighting me saying I don't the settings and that I need to learn. I then explained almost every setting and they said that 50 degrees outside is affecting it and keep using it and it'll get better lmao
@thomasK411 sounds like you got a lemon or open it up check what kind of battery they got in it or get rid of it get something else

If I was you go to another brand, they don't stand behind their product at all. But if you must go dualtron thunder 2 they don't seem to have problems.

@adimuntean9825 hard to say this since it doesn't answer you're question fully. If I was you I would certainly not get either. Both have had reliability issues and teverun is under the umbrella of mini motors now. I would stay away from them. If you're gonna spend that kind of money the inmotion rs, kaabo wolf king gt pro is great. Heck even the roadrunner rx7 seems really well built. Stay away from mini motors man !
@@thomasK411 sorry to hear you have problems with minimotors. I have dualtron ultra for 6 years and haven't got any problems with it, only with the folding mechanism that was changed in the newest models. Every model have issues
Also the reviews on thunder 3 are pretty good. RS doesn't sell in my area unfortunately.. I know it's a good scooter also
@adimuntean9825 well of you consider how they treated me, refused a return or to fix all within me not owning it more than 48 hours, makes me stay away from the company. Dualtron ultra I have heard good things about. The dualtron thunder 3 unfortunately didn't feel faster than my sister nami klima. If torque and acceleration you're looming for, 4k for a scooter than doesn't beat a nami klima in a 0-30mph was also dissapointing. Either way I wish you the best man.
Cold has to do alot with battery life. Give it sometime it will get better i had thunder 2 with over 12000 miles it ran close to 60 mph
It wasn’t negative out. 50 degrees shouldn’t make the battery life in the 20s. My sister’s Nami klima max can hit 30 miles in cold temps.
I don’t understand I have the original thunder and I go 65mph all the time between blocks. Light to light I’m doing 50mph. I must have gotten a good one off the scooter line.
I has to be the battary man, I have a way lower end scooter and it does at least 36 miles with me max the speed all the time.
@@MrGoodsalesman my other lower end scooters did better as well. My Apollo ghost was cheap but much better as well.

@@thomasK411whoever got it from you at a big loss got a big come up when they got it serviced at a shop and probably just had them factory reset the firmware or test the battery cells
I have had mine for over a month now. ZERO issues! The battery is sick and my top speed is high 50's without hitting the turbo. I rode for 4 hrs with varying speeds starting at 79% and ended at 58%
Luv the range. Your comment about not being agile. That right there tells me something about your review. It's a beast/massive scotter. Of course, it's not going to handle like the lighter, smaller scooters.
Bottom line, everyone, do your research and don't listen to a sample of one. BTW. Try landscape mode. You vid was challenging to watch.
As for the weight, it really tells us that you just blindly purchased the scooter.

Secondly, I’m very happy that you have no issues with your scooter, but it’s funny that you can’t accept the truth that I’ve had a lot of problems with the one I had. Also purchased brand new from mini motors USA. I have the order number and over 20 emails back-and-forth with mini motors USA. Best of luck

By the end of the testing before I sold it I was able to get 26 miles on a full charge.
Much much much lower than I was expecting. But people on here are blasting me saying I’m trying to make dual Tron look bad for sharing my experience

Try another range run on full charge above 65 degrees. You will get a minimum of 40 miles

Kind of an asshole move to sell it to someone and not put up the HONEST Review, so instead of contacting the manufacturer and all you had to do was get a new one from them at no charge you’re now going to sell it to someone else so they can have the same issues you have cuz idc if it’s 1k less it ain’t worth $600 with a bad battery. So stupid you literally could have returned it simple as that.If you see everyone saying you got a bad one cuz they get way more mileage off even the next one down then obviously it’s defective…You get back what you put out in the universe.
