This is the scooter that i want, probably next year. I have mu eye on the thunder 3, Victor luxury + , or the storm Ltd. I currently have a varla e1 pro and I also have a dualtron thunder that my friend gave me because he was upgrading to the thunder 2 back in July. I know that my next scooter will be a high end dualtron; I just don't know which one
The Storm Limited stands out as the top choice for high-end performance with its superior 84V system. While the Thunder 3, Victor Luxury +, and others are impressive at 72V and 60V, the Storm Limited's higher voltage offers enhanced power and efficiency, making it a standout option.
One thing more. On the tire of my Dualtron Storm Limited New Edition I see "90 / 65 - 6.5" written. If you google that online, you will find a diameter of 270 Millimeters or 10.6 Inches as mounted tire size. So for the correct factory setting use 11 inches. For a better speed indication use 10 inches as wheel diameter setting. When you drive, depending of the inflation rate of the tire and your weight, the effective tire diameter will be even less. So 10 inches will indeed display the more correct speed on your display. :)
Hey. To be honest we did not have time yet to assess how reliable is this new Dualtron Storm Limited. As for the Thunder3, we can say with high confidence that it is very reliable !
I will go nuts if i had a scooter this powerful with a speed limiter on it my achilleus is powerful on stock settings until i changed the p7 to 2 and now it is crazy powerful and no cop's mess with me in tx.
I have incredible vibration over 55 km /h. Do you have any idea ? The biggest issue is ; I could not find any contact information to get Technical Support. Do you know any ?
Are there any issues with recuperative breaking? I was told there were issues for the previous generations of Storm LTD when using recup breaking, like the controller wnet out. I\ve preordered this beast. It will be coming in March.
Recup breaking will be always bad, charging battery and right after discharging and all over will tear up you battery faster, so if you don't need it don't do it
@@MAjken1177 I see, on my current vehicle (Kugoo G1) it seems pretty convenient, although rotgut this day my battery seemed to malfunction (the voltage dropped abruptly about 3 kilometres of ride with full charge), who knows, maybe the recup is part of the problem. The seller also told me to shut it off in Dualtron. I would probably keep it if is just about the battery longevity, but if there is a real change of breaking something, I would shut it off.
😎👍... Now we got a "Shut up Fendi" Dualtron Storm Limited. With lights horn and even a Damper everything in the Box. Hope ya'll fix the connector inside the controller
Cant believe how this scooters with this lock mechanism design went through the test machine that flexes bending the stem to test its durability and the pin not cracking thats incredible lol 👏
Good and informative video. I too have the new Storm LTD since 1 month. Here in Zurich (Switzerland) I'm one of the first. I don't think the tires are 12 inch. I haven't measured the size yet, but out of the box the setting for the wheel diameter was at 11 inch and, if I limit the speed to 20 or 25, the ey4 shows exactly 20 or 25 at max speed. If I set the wheel diameter to 12 inch the ey4 shows a max speed of 22 and 27/28. I don't know if there are different wheel diameters for the new Storm LTD. But probably not. I have one question. On my Storm LTD the steering damper can be moved a bit up and down. Is this normal? I'm asking, because it's my first steering damper and I don't know. Thank you and drive careful.
Hey ! Thank you very much for watching us ! The technical specifications we have from the factory say 12 inch ! About the directional steering damper, i am not sure because the unit we had was sold, but if you drop us an email with a video of the supposed issue i can forward to our techs that will certainly have a wise opinion :) Cheers
Hello! I am considering moving to Switzerland, and I wanted to ask you about regulations. Is this possible to ride this beast there at full speed, or everyone is limiting to 25?
Sure it is possible, but against the law (LOL). The law in Switzerland limits e-scooters on public roads at 20Km/h, in most EU countries the limit is a bit higher (25Km/h). With a so powerful e-scooter like the Dualtron Storm Limited you have to drive very careful and intelligent or you will loose it faster as you can think, because there are a lot of police controls , especially in Zurich. You have to know where it is allowed, where you can risk it and where better not drive fast. On private roads and terrains and off-road it is allowed to drive over 20. On public roads it is forbidden. On public roads I most of the time drive unlimited (System Speed Limiter "OFF" in the Dualtron-App), but I'm ready to limit the speed to 20Km/h with the APP in any moment. So, if there is a control by the police, they will put it with the wheels in the air and do a full speed and read the max speed on the display. It hen should not display more then 20Km/h, albeit 25Km/h should be tolerated too. Btw. If you do this with this beast without limited speed and wheel diameter settings at 11 Inch in the Dualtron App, the display will show you a incredible 140Km/h (without a dubble click, with the dubble click it will show you even a higher max speed!). The police would then confiscate your e-scooter immediately, destroy it later and give you a heavy fine. It is very important that you do not get caught at high speed (over 20 - 25Km/h) and that you have the speed limited with the App. Then you will pass the police control without problems, even with such a beast.@@Sauraigne
The Dualtron Storm Limited New surpasses the Thunder 3 in terms of power and efficiency. With a commanding 11500 watts of power, compared to the Thunder 3's 10800 watts, the Storm Limited clearly takes the lead. It also boasts a superior battery system, operating at 84V and reaching up to 95V when fully charged, whereas the Thunder 3 operates on a 72V system. This difference in voltage contributes to the Storm Limited's enhanced performance. Moreover, the Storm Limited's design includes a single motor controller board located in the rear footrest, a strategic placement that effectively minimizes heat and condensation near the battery. In contrast, the Thunder 3 has its controllers near the front, adjacent to the battery, which could lead to increased heat generation. This thoughtful design of the Storm Limited not only optimizes power but also ensures greater longevity and reliability of the system.
I'd be irritated if my country had a speed limit on scooters ..I'd get bored if I was capped out at a slow speed like that ..I'm bout to be flying through the streets at 60+mph on my inmotion RS
@@tecowheel-3.0transportatio39 I live in the U.S..specifically In Michigan.. There's a very low amount of scooter riders out here so I can ride in the street/sidewalk/trails or anything at any speed and I never get bothered.. Been riding for 3 years with no complaints
Its nice but not sure if it has same locking design as the supreme. If it has a little silver pin careful how hard you hit pothole or speed hump because that little shity pin will crack in half. So yea this new locking design i do not like it at all they should of designed it like the new nanrobot LS7+ 72volt that red rounded knob. I have this nanrobot d6+ with that round knob to fold the scooter and let me tell you that shit it rock solid i never ever had a complaint about the stem or that folding design lock mechanism i had that scooter about over 2 years.
