The material cap seems like a very odd choice, it kinda punishes playing well and having runs last long from what I hear. The quickest way to get materials would be to get as much as your cap allows, and then intentionally die and repeat, which does not seem like the kind of playstyle you'd want to encourage.

this hyper light drifter video looks a little weird... anyways great video as always, the game looks awesome and you did a really good job describing it and making it seem interesting while still highlighting the areas it needs work. ill definitely add this to the list of "games zingus has made videos about that i really want to play and may or may not get around to."

Struggling to really point out anything you didn't! Though I think (based on the footage,) heavy attacks need more knockback or visual effects for players to really notice the difference in result. Looks like it's gonna be good either way.

If you're into games inspired by Hollow Knight, I'd recommend Unbound: Worlds Apart. It's got some really unique gameplay functions and intriguing lore
Might have to give this game a shot when it comes out

It’s good but the controls are not as tight as you’d hope. Dashing requires you finish an animation which are long, and sometimes when I want to jump turn around and shoot it turns me back in the wrong direction

Dont waste money on this game. It just doesnt feel good to play. Wanna see what i mean? Then go ahead and waste 27$ like i just did due to this video not talking about issues like your attack buttton just stops working for no reason at random, hit detection and frame rate are terrible, attacking and combos feel stiff and combat is just horrible feeling. I shoulda saw the red flag how there isnt anyone talking about this game at all right now.
