2014 first youtube movie is GT3C W2 at Mt.Panorama(Bathurst) with Onboard.
when I was driving lap4, I contacted 2nd place car because he closed my line :(
and after 3laps maybe, 1st place car was losted of connect... omg
Sound was recorded from replay so cant listen VC and Spotter voice.

I may of been a bit stoned (which makes me go a bit cross eyed lol) but for the first 10 minutes of watching this video I thought I was watching the view of one PC screen! The monitors were the windows and the rest was the cockpit mode graphics of the inside of the car! Just thought I'd mention it as it's a bit mental.

Well after checking the video i totally agree with you, i would add it is not a realisic passing point, where you would belive it was safe, and also fair to do it, and that's from BOTH sides opinion his and the other driver's point of view.
He has the left rear panel covered he saved the other guy from spinning out though

That is outstanding pice of race craft buddy! The overtake was bit scratchy, don't know was there a contact or not, but both of you were on the limit. Amazing!

Holy! That was some serious driving, though it feels like (at least in the beginning) that you try to overtake everyone in every corner, even when there is no chance that you will get past them, only dive bomb them. It would be quicker to just fall behind them and past them on the straights? Maybe it is my defens driving talking
It's not the first time I've watched this video and these fantastic skills of a race driver, in defense of the 7:45 incident, I will say that the driver in the front deserves it. The yellow-blue Porsche made many mistakes before that ,and blocked unclean twice.
God damnit, I get exhausted just watching this. Incredible driving, I wouldn't last a second on that course.

woulda been boring except for lap 4... I wanted a battle for the lead. tbh that lap 4 incident... mojo looked like he just about got into the wall and lost all speed GOING UPHILL... shoulda been looking to stay off line and recover at that point, the fact you both didnt completely crash was because this guy's such a badass. even said sorry :D

That is a sweet racing setup! The force feedback looks to be pretty strong on that wheel. Looks like you had to manhandle that wheel a couple of times!
Mind going over how you had your T500rs set up? (manufacture setting/iracing settings)
I have a T500rs as well, but it just feels weird. Can't seem to get setting right.

7:41 = Racing Incident (and was offered an apology). If the car in front is slower and blocking, which is perfectly legal by race rules, it is the following drivers perogative to harass and force a "mistake" from the lead driver. There was no contact made that i could see and as far as i'm concerned the driver in front should have held a more defensive line, albeit slower. I'm sure that in real life, on Bathurst, this manoeuvre would not have taken place, but hey!! it wasn't and for iRacing...a perfect peace of race craft.
My proverbial "HAT" off to you sir! I applaud you on a GREAT win. Well done! And don't forget. It's the will to win that seperates the winners from the also ran's.
As long as it is against "others" and not towards oneself it's totally okay :) Was there contact made yes: contact -> x4 Inc. Would have rendered him with a stop and go penalty in a league race.

To Justin Hamilton, my point is that guy in front was blocking him for whole 4 laps and tbh I would do the same or even more dirty move purely because this ruf at front knew his faster but still defend his line and that's fine but people like that have to know that or you gonna let faster car pass or it'll end up with heavy damage in track like Bathurst. Honestly hats off for you guys with lap time like this but admit that if someone keep blocking you, you will make a move finally ??? Yes you could wait for mistake but on second hand that blocking will close the gap with cars at the back so being clean and kind is not the always good idea

A good example of a fast driver with absolutely no race craft.
I havent seen momo wheel since the old logitechs, but never in black. And this is a thrustmaster wheel?...I'm drooling! Please tell me this is still on the market? This is incredible, the realism is just unbelievable. Awesome driving too, balls to the walll! Jeezus!

Great setup and fantastic driving, with the exception of THAT overtake. are those monitors 120/144hz? If not I'd recommend setting a max cap on your frame rate to ar oi under 100 because it's jumping around a but and in sim racing you're much better having a solid 100 than it jumping around 115-130. I would also drop the ffb down a notch as it's clipping every corner. Now I just need to be able to get down the mountain as fast as you do lol.
acidburn82uk Hey thanks for watching. And I am still using 60Hz monitors atm. But I use to lock 120fps in iRacing because it is more smooth than 84fps(default) for me.
I thought there is no 997 Porsche in Iracing. Is it still available?

hmm...3 monitors are $450. It is 24inch 60Hz.

One of my favorite tracks. Why don't they build more tracks like this. Tracks like this and nordschleife is pure racing - You don't get that in F1.
I don't think F1's brake pads can handle that speed.

There is only 1 driving line through there and you were not on it. Creating an imaginary line through there is no excuse for bombing someone on the most dangerous split on Bathurst. Bad(or very little) race craft.
Easy As maybe just some more practice around other drivers is required. I think SimRaceKaeru means well. He is obviously fast but if we look at his recent races we can see a bad ratio of DNF's. Patience will earn you respect of your fellow drivers. Keep on going though - i look forward to seeing more videos.

Is your 4gb gtx 770 run great on max setting for 3 monitors? I have this card but i'm not sure of it capacities for 3 monitor on iracing, Asseto Corsa and Project cars(soon). Always nice to see you race !!
3 monitors and max settings cant keep always 120fps. I want to keep 120fps, so my setting is middle-high settings maybe

This steering is like normal wheel controllers, push back is switch's.
yeah they have force feedback. The higher end wheels can replicate pretty close to what you would feel in a race car

Dude, you are SO fast! I think my bathurst time with this car is still around 2:10...I struggle with the downhill section! How do you like your T500RS? I wanted to buy this one but heard lots of complaints about the quality of it recently. I went with the Fanatek porsche GT2 wheel instead.
thx man! I sold my T500 unit and I bought Fanatec CSR Elite Wheel. T500 was very very good, and powerful, smooth.
But If you will go T500 now, you should buy TX or T300RS or CSWv2. T500 is very hot about motor.

SimRaceKaeru Hey dude, i heard a lot motor overheat issue about CSR Elite wheel, how about your one?
townnet well... I dont think so. but continue to apply strong FFB, motor becomes weaker of my CSR-E. and I will back to G27, it is very nice wheel I think. I got iRacing Pro license with G27, so there is a fondness.
you cant compare the gt2 with the t500 the t500 is just soooo miuch better i have both wheels and you should really have gone for the t500
I think you should drive more progressively so you don't lose that much time correcting mistakes, like in the last corner. Also you should take more time preparing for overtakes and if the other racer is good at defending than you should make you move in the straights. I think you could have saved a lot of time that way.

I think he came in 1st...didn't he? I think you're bound to make a few mistakes here and there when racing as good and hard as he was but nothing to complain about. If the race was like an hour and a half perhaps maybe he would have driven a little more conservatively.

7:45 was that a hit induced overtaking? or perhaps a lag? ...nevertheless that was quite optimistic thinking to challenge in that spot. Very aggressive move. You could have overtake him in back straight draft anyways. Other than that, it was impressive driving. And amazing cockpit you have! * :-O *
He was oversteer before corner, he slow down.
So I tried overtaking but contact was my fault right.
I should save back straight.
