@Womb Raider some people feel they can hold their line better with gloves on, my buddy does. I ran that same wheel with 80% strong ffb on Iracing and granturismo 5, i would just wait until last couple laps at daytona and white knuckle it
At first I didn't really get it but now I'm in the rabbit hole lol. It's even more amazing in VR, taking Eau Rouge flat in an F1 car will make you pucker so hard you could cut a piece of rebar off
I’m gonna say this right now, it took me 19 seconds to realize that was a screen in front of him. I thought it was an insanely well done green screen. Great set up.
What if he’s say 15 years old, what does that make your comment? Solid point there chief, you really got him there; you must be so well off yourself to be ‘besting’ people in the TH-cam comments lmao
I think some people who has no idea what holding 150MPH and above feels like on 4 wheels are quick to judge people who are in to the simulator rigs. Trust me it's the safest way to learn how to control a car at those speeds. Awesome!
*Nostalgia just hit me , I remember they had these cars set up in City Walk near the It's Sugar store and it was always the coolest looking thing I saw when I would pass by there*
This rig is IMMACULATE. I would kill to have something as close as it is, but I was wondering if it would be possible to get a speedometer for Iracing working on an iPad
You need to adjust the resolution to correct for the bezels :) That way things that go behind the bezels wont "jump" to the next screen.. it will look more like a windshield and objects will smoothly pass behind the bezels, if you do the resolution correction. remember to APPLY it after you set it..
Not at all billy, I have that steering wheel and because of the force feed back that thing is a real work out. Your hands get sweaty so you need more grip, the gloves are a good idea .
Hi, thx for watching I use only one GTX770 single. fps can keep 120fps often, lowest 80fps. My setting is advance, plz check this link (setting's screen shot) drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw814rqawefqWURFTm5kdGtNOHM/edit?usp=sharing
thank you very much for replay , i am planing to buy new PC with GTX 770 and that help me a lot what if you but all sitting on "high" and trun on "2048X2048 car textures" can it veiw more than 60FPS ? also i think you need to fill display sitting to improve your view and increse field of view
Abdulmajid Ahmed I checked all settings on high and 2048*2048 skins, and I drove at Suzuka (one of most load is applied) only my car(is not other car), can keep 120fps. but if there are a lot of other cars, can keep over 60fps.
Why are we all giving him shit for wearing gloves? I wear them sometimes, not only because I like the feel, but my hands occasionally get freezing cold. You gotta hold your hands out in front of you for long periods of time. It's not like regular offline racing games in which you can just pause so you can sit on your hands or tuck them into your pits for a second lol. Hell, I wear slippers a lot of times, too. Keeps muh feets warm... Everyone's got preferences.
Holy crap you are basically touching at the start O.O I'm going to get a racing wheel soon and I had a quick question about this type of race, how do end up switching places in the race? I've noticed some people just storm by as others fall back a lot of places, how does this happen in such a simple style of race?
Don't worry about that at all. I've only got a G27 wheel, I'm using my laptop connected to an old 24 inch monitor and running the lowest possible settings to get around 40 fps and it's good enough to be competitive in the top splits! Sure a nice setup helps, but I think it just displays you information that's not key to the racing at all. Definitely need a wheel though ;)
Drake Dickey That wheel in particular is coated in a material that isn’t plastic if I remember correctly, so keep that in mind with the added vibration/force feedback, your hands can become very sweaty and you can lose your grip. I didn’t think it was that serious until I tried it for myself. Gloves help keep your grip trust me. Even though it’s a video game in the end, these races can be real workouts if you have a realistic high end steering wheel.
@@themiguelodon7206 Some reason this vid popped up into my feed a year later again lol! I was just kiddin' with the guy, but, Ive raced 100's of races on iracing in the A car in the NIS series(Full length Nascar races) winning several times(won my first race which was the Daytona 500), tons of top5 finishes etc etc.. NEVER did my hands sweaty or get blisters, nor did I feel the need to wear gloves and my wheel is more powerful than a logitech...
Not really, but my best bet is that when you hold the steering wheel for long, your hands get sweaty and its harder to steer, just like when you hold a Playstation controller for a long time. I think, its to avoid the wheel getting greasy.
People who say this dude has no life. It is a passion witch i support fully. It is super cool he has that. And damn that was a nice video!
I am just glad he's wearing those fire retardant gloves while in that simulator!
Rob his ffb looks strong and that could ware his hands down and hurt in a race
@Womb Raider some people feel they can hold their line better with gloves on, my buddy does. I ran that same wheel with 80% strong ffb on Iracing and granturismo 5, i would just wait until last couple laps at daytona and white knuckle it
Those same people will binge watch for 8 hours some dumb video series and he does a 30 min race and hes the one with no life 🙄
@Womb Raider most of these wankers wear gloves and racing boots im the odd one out in my slippers and dressing gown hahaha
Dude this setup is legit man, holy shit!!
The wheel is an older one but the setup is super cool
You know its serious when he puts the gloves on
BoBbY 3 it does help :)
Depends if force feedback is way up that wheel can hurt lol.
MARTY #NoSkinOnMyHanda
I do it sometimes cause it's gets uncomfortable when your hands get sweaty.
also helps keep the wheel clean lol
This is a SICK setup. Bravo, dude.
Here’s what I’m seeing, you can go car racing and if you crash out you don’t have to repair a car. I think this will be my new hobby.
At first I didn't really get it but now I'm in the rabbit hole lol.
It's even more amazing in VR, taking Eau Rouge flat in an F1 car will make you pucker so hard you could cut a piece of rebar off
I love how you recorded this. Ultimate set up!!
I’m gonna say this right now, it took me 19 seconds to realize that was a screen in front of him. I thought it was an insanely well done green screen. Great set up.
This is probably the coolest shit at ever seen in my life awesome I want next,!
What if he’s say 15 years old, what does that make your comment? Solid point there chief, you really got him there; you must be so well off yourself to be ‘besting’ people in the TH-cam comments lmao
@@ballaking1000 damn bro he was giving him a compliment, why u gotta be a dick about it
Nice racing. Reminds me of my days playing NR2003 years ago. Good fun.

I had to look twice at this set up lol awesome !!!! keep up the awesome vids just subbed !!!
gotta say these guys so far have shown a great deal of skill. better than the A or C series at the same track!
I'm just getting started in street stocks and watching you draft this close bumper-to-bumper gives me a serious case of anxiety lol
Bro that’s my first iracing video I watched!
That was amazing racing you got good sportsmanship letting him win
Exactly, "letting him win"... I don't understand it.
Good race man, very very nice setup you've got going there ! Enjoyable race all the way. nice work !
I Wish They Had This Back In the 90s
How is this so exciting? I can't stop watching Green Green Green
This rig is IMMACULATE. I would kill to have something as close as it is, but I was wondering if it would be possible to get a speedometer for Iracing working on an iPad
Love the G27 setup....i have the same in 2020...just not that wicked huge monitor. :p
"stay low"
You need to adjust the resolution to correct for the bezels :) That way things that go behind the bezels wont "jump" to the next screen.. it will look more like a windshield and objects will smoothly pass behind the bezels, if you do the resolution correction.
remember to APPLY it after you set it..
Great setup & video! Your force feedback looks like it could be toned down quite a bit to stop the that jittery effect and smooth your steering.
Nothing against the G27, but if you are paying that much, couldnt you have upgraded to a thrustmaster or something?
Exactly. My Thrustmaster has decided after 6 months it doesn't want me to drive straight.
nice comeback! frustrating wheen that happens lol, good patience.
How I’m earth can you have the sense of speed like when I have mine set up I have zero. I have a similar fov
Online? Well, what an amazing video dude
This dude is using Alpinestar gloves with his 11” diameter G27 rim. Priorities.
Dude I fucking died laughing when he put on gloves😂
Nice setup I think you could have done him dirty before the tri-oval then blocked to the line, nice to see someone race clean and be content with 2nd
I am surprised at how realistic the is!!!
Fantastic race by everyone
The spotter must be banking. Hes like in every Nascar game and a few others.
Once I earn more money in a few years (fingers crossed!), I'd love to get into this and get some gear of my own for my custom PC!
I like your setup. I think I might needa go buy two more screens 😂😂
what do you use to display ispeed
This is Awesome Stuff.
Yea, but, is there a car on the high side?
2 questions. Is that a laptop screen above the buttons and what do the buttons do?
whch track is that where you weld the pedal to the floor
Anyone else notice that he checked his phone while driving😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Legal in his state?! 🤔🤪
aye where did u get ur blue screen and ur shift light indicator
everything is great but the gloves are a bit much lol
Billy Nolan I bet there or gripping the wheel when the hands are sweaty
Not at all billy, I have that steering wheel and because of the force feed back that thing is a real work out. Your hands get sweaty so you need more grip, the gloves are a good idea .
plenty of people use gloves on the 300 with the alcantera (sp?) rim, i guess it helps some people grip
Why didn't you try to pass in the last lap in turn 3 and 4
Very cool man.👍
Where did you get the gloves and how much were they?
ultimatew3 You can go to any dirt bike or quad store and they always have gloves. Including brands like fox and stuff.
nice wheel and gloves
Great racing. Well done.
What model shifter is he using? I want one
I cannot figure out, engine temp, lap and what all the "L's" mean. Can anyone enlighten me?
I know this is an older video but what settings do you use?
how much was that set cause I am actually going to get me omr

That setup looks weird...looks like you are driving at 45 degrees!
Gray it is nascar after all
Gie much does a system like this cost?
Dude that is a sick setuo, how much did u pay for all of it?
well... maybe over 3,000$ of all (in PC, Steering, Monitors... and more)
+SimRaceKaeru most of that probably went to the computer. How did you get all your gauges onto that other screen?
Very nice setup..can you share were you got all of your stuff at for a setup like that..badass
Ryan Morrison man his never got answered? I’d love to know
Did you do any mods to the shifter at all
Stuff's about to get real when the gloves go on
For those who aren't aware, each id those other cards are real people and not AI
Why do you have a g27?
How much did this whole set up cost u?
I'm looking at getting into iracing and then see this setup. I can't compete with this at all. Guess I'm not getting into it.

A kid won the pro level championship using a so-so wheel and on a laptop..so.. dont ever count yourself out. Build as you go..its no biggie.
That was bad ass yall.
Hey right by your shift gear is that your iPad?
I want one of these so cool
nice drivin
are the gloves necessary? asking for a friend...

It would be even more fun if it was in 3d.
What Gloves are those from Alpinestars?
Fiv3Dollar I’m guesssing 1-k?
How many screens are you using?
Why?
What’s the pc u use?
DUH! gloves for a computer game? what a woos. does he also wear thermal shoes so he won't burn his feet?
Where did you get the digital dash?
CoolTechStuff Is just a ipad download the stuff and install and good to go...
Lol dem gloves doe
You laugh, but you actually need them, particularly if the force feedback is powerful or it's a long race.
I want one of these in my home😉
I love the setup, love the cute little figure, but the gloves is where I gotta call major cringe.
PhantomGunshipOfficial the racing gloves stay on during sex
Gloves . . . wow.
Wow..long way from Atari 2600..
Nace save...
NASCAR after covid19
The 7 saved his ass 9:14..
drafting is not hard if the guy in front of you is running straight smooth lines. if they are not then it is a chore
can i irace on a windows 10 laptop ?
Go to the iRacing website and see if your computer can support the game. www.iracing.com/membership/system-requirements
That depends on your laptop specs
Wtf the gloves really????
Fucking sailor Jerry in the way slow as fuck and he ends up winning.!! WTF!
What kind of PC do you use?
Windows 95
lol.. gloves dude?
Fightlikabrave For grip, feel, offput sweat, etc. Read the other comments.

mike morabito it depends on if his wheel is force feedback if it is then it's probably not a bad idea to wear gloves

Ive done over 40000 laps on iracing.. no gloves are needed.. but to each their own.
Gloves really ???
