That should be the easier thing to take out. If it doesnt work, maybe the door handle? I don't know about the Forester, but in some cars that little key cap thing is easily removed.
8:26 My favorite moment in this video. The way you get excited, like a kid who won the best present ever, i think that for us watching this, it´s impossible not being also excited, even if we wouldn´t knew what you´re excited about.
You've perfected your editing skills. I am SUPER impressed! Thanks SO much for taking so much of your valuable time to make this video. For those of you who don't know, there is so much work that goes into making a quality TH-cam video and Sarah has nailed it. Thanks Sarah!
A super example of why your channel is just the greatest ! Your attention to detail & your unbridled enthusiasm (that was a mouthful 😃) are a joy to watch (and you thought your name was Sarah 😊).
Always noice to see you happy about parts choices! So kewl you found a killer business! Glad Matt is doin his thing & wanting to expand. Those colors were outstanding! Such a grand thing, you & Charlie working together to make modifications that are truly yours! Glad y'all decided to make things happen together. You stress over enough as it is lol
Chandler Arizona my old stomping grounds :-) Spent 24 of the first 32 years of my life there. the other 8 was Phoenix. sorta miss that place. Not really! ;-) Fun to see when a youtuber pops into a place where you once lived. Keep up the good work Sarah! Love the show!
Did you ever get to see a Rally Fighter? They were made in Chandler with assistance with the buyer. Awesome desert runners, they even had a ramp to send the Rally fighter about 7 feet in the air, over and over again. They looked amazing too. The Local Motor factory is still there but they are now building autonomous cars now.
The best way to get the color matches for the flare on the body as well as the flare to the bumper cover is this. Find a way to take the fuel door off for the flares to the body. Take off a front bumper cover for the front flares and the rear bumper cover for the rear flares that way everything will match correct as far as the three-stage tint
Little hint, to remove tie rod ends or ball joints, three sharp hits with a hammer on the spindle will make it drop out without using a fork and causing possible boot damage.
Take the paint code and the plug. There is probably no fade because..detailing and ceramic coat. The plug will confirm it. Those wheels are gonna be amazing!
Crazy. I clicked as soon as I had notification of the video and there were 4 views. I had to pause for a short phone call and when I finished there were 2,500 views. I guess it’s not like anyone is waiting for the next Sarah-n-Tuned video... The new rims look fire. I can see why you were so excited when you put the one on. I would almost be tempted to leave the wheel arch trim black...almost.
I’m getting lazy with looking up torque values and using torque wrenches. Now I like to use my “calibrated” arm and let the threads talk to me. Also getting away from or using tiny amounts of loctite because some kinds of fasteners get seized and need lots of extra work.
Take the bumper plug out Sarah you should have one on your Subaru in the front and in the back it’s where you would put your service tool in and screwed in to the bumper to pull the car
Some of the tire web sites have these neat calculators that help you compare the external dimensions of tires. I use the one on Tire Rack dot com often..
A larger contact patch on front wheels is going to make steering feel more vague. It will be interesting to see if you notice. 265 makes more sense on the rear. As an example BMW X5 runs with 255 front 285 rear. Looking forward to seeing the rims.
Most people when changing a ball joint/track rod end just count the number of turns for a 'close enough' fit. Not Sarah! Out comes the digital micrometer for an exact measurement! It's probably too late now but a racing driver who presents a car show in the UK gave a pointer for where to set your seat in any car which I still use and that is to put your arm out straight and your wrist joint should just sit on top of the wheel.
Finally, wheel arches.. I left mine black it gives the car a good contrast as I think theres too much white. Very anxious to see the arches in body color though.
I think it great that you called you car Gump. It has been my nickname since the movie came out. It is the first part of my last name and I was in the Army at the time!
I keep my wheel arch moulding in factory black color coz i think it will not match on the rear bumper coz it has a black color too and i like some contrasts, and the side skirt/door plastic trim on the buttom are black too. just my opinion.
Drove to Phoenix from CA a few weeks ago. I was looking to relocate for a job. Pulled in about 7pm got a room and bailed the next morning at 8am. That place is soooooo friggin hot. I dont see how anyone can handle that kind of heat. Whoa!!
I put 4" taller tires on my Lexus GX. It should have made the spedo 10% off, but its calibrated to the GPS. The spedo was 2 MPH low, just like it always was.
Color codes lookup, vin# lookup, sometimes under the hood has a sticker. Touchupdirect will have the code also for a perfect match. Nicely done Charlie
@@SarahnTunedOK, talk to a paint shop. They should be able to mix you the base, middle, and top coat. I know you will figure it out Cheers :):):)

Hey Sarah, why don't you use the antenna cover for color match body part. As far as I remeber from the previous video, it was painted to the body color. If not, just ignore me 😁
@@SarahnTuned--- hello Sarah hummm weird - "tri- coat" is not triple paint color ? you can also get the build sheet from a manufacture or it came with the paper work at purchase of the car if you don't have it - it probably does not give you all the paint codes .... body shops used the stickers but that was along time ago to !
Sarah if you like that shop. Go pay a visit to lc engineering in lake havasu , Arizona. They specialize in toyota high performance engines. Don't you have a Toyota also? 😆
Take the bumper plug out for the tow hook to paint match. Comes out easy.
I was going to ask if there might ne a paint code on a door tag, or glove box tag. Yours seems like an easier to find solution.
That should be the easier thing to take out. If it doesnt work, maybe the door handle? I don't know about the Forester, but in some cars that little key cap thing is easily removed.
David Stisher Wouldn’t any good paint shop be able to match paint by referencing the VIN?
Gui MF Yeah, I’m bringing him the door handle or rear spoiler Monday.
@@SarahnTuned Should just take the front bumper cover. You've had that thing off enough times, you could do it in your sleep by now! :-D

Sarah can literally take apart a whole car and put it back together. Amazing. Keep up the great work!
Jason Weaver it’s not hard, lol.
You should honestly have a gajillion subscribers. The amount of effort you put in shows. 🔥

Your cage guy...knows his stuff and is doing that job, the right way. Nice to see someone like that, who cares about the safety.
The music at 3:05 SLAPS 👍🏼 🔥🔥🔥 totally fits the trip shots. A total vibe
Charlie did a fantastic job on the roll cage and I like that he's looking out for you in trying to get the seat and harness perfect, too.

Great video Sarah that really emphasised your knowledge as well as the normal “quirky humour”

Nice Manson shirt, and agree the bumper plug would be the easiest to use for color matching

I love Arizona, spent a week in Scottsdale last year. If I ever end up south of the border AZ is where I'll be...
Love your forester Sarah and your mods are very very nice, not over the top just enough.. Love from Ireland 😎
Those wheel spec animations were so dope!

Hey Sarah, try looking at your Vin, it has your Factory color in the Vin.
It should be on the door tag.
Definitely not. VIN numbers don't have paint codes.
J A Right. The paint code will be on the door jamb tag.

Love your videos. I just had my 2020 Forester Sport up in northern Arizona. It did awesome with the meatball test. Keep up the awesome content.
Sarah makes me smile, Fit's with no rub issues just sounds different lmao
If the car is stock color, grab the color code off the inside of the door on the info placard that also has recommended tire pressure.
Ever tried counting the turns changing tie-rod ends? Example 25 turns off 25 turns back on gets you close no need to measure.
I find that I raise my voice when I’m excited about what I’m talking about😉😀❤️
Hi Sarah, can you share with us the tire and wheel specification please?
Love the channel BTW.
Hey Sarah how about a tour of the factory in Casa Grande where the Lucid Air electric car is being built? Just a thought.

Lovely Jubbly, who dares to give Sarah a thumbs down?
In the UK you can usually get the paint code for a car of the VIN plate, just look in the handbook to find it. Or failing that just contact Subaru.
Prince Edward Paint Code alone is not sufficient enough on a tri-stage Pearl.
