Some info that I did not find on You Tube about replacing a battery on this G-Shock with Atomic and Solar. The battery I used was a Panasonic CTL1616

It's been so long. The battery has to be a rechargeable for solar watches. I think a ctl1616 is what you need. But I am not a 100# sure so do more research.
Would a cr 1616 battery work
I can only tell you the battery I used worked. I only ever have done this with this watch.

Was wondering what kinda tweezers did you use, or what tool kit did you use?
I used this battery for this watch amzn.to/2KM2tiZ it's a rechargable solar battery. It came in a kit but I can't recall where I got it from. The kit came with
the battery some plastic tweezers and rubber covers for your fingers. I don't think the kit was nessary at all. Watch is still working perfect today.

It looks like you don't have the level charge no more on the display... Can you confirm ?
You know I never noticed that before and I just checked it now and it does NOT have it. Everything else seems to work fine still.
