Just tried this with meal prepping doubled the recipe and those exact steps work perfectly 15 minutes sear an 10 minutes with the unit off worked for me perfect rice appreciate the video homie
Spectacular. I recently bought the Ninja Speedi after watching your channel. I would like to see more recipes for fish (fresh or frozen) and vegetables. Greetings from Spain
Thanks for the info! I do have a question, isn't the steam option on the left specifically for rice? I feel that would be a quicker option, but not sure how it will taste. Thanks again for the insight, I am going to try this method next time.
It works like a charm! Thank you for that. How about brown rice? I recently started to make homemade Dog food and wondering about brown rice. Any recommendations? Thank you
Mornin James So I've been following your recipes for your Ninja Speedi ..so as of today I'm the proud owner of a brand new Ninja Speedi lol so here's my question for today lol there will probably be more I'm sure ..anyway..have you done fresh potato fry's plus burgers at the same time? I did catch
Sorry I guess I clicked it before I was finished..anyway I did catch your video where you made frozen fry's and burgers at the same time..but thought I might be able to do fresh fry's and burger the same way..
I made this & it ended up sticking - would you recommend Pam spray? I used olive oil spray & jasmine rice. My oil wasn’t as dispersed of a spray as yours though - so maybe that’s it? I washed the rice first because I wasn’t sure 🤔
Follwed your recipe to the T, but after 15mins pan was still full with water.?? I did 2 cup rice and 4 cup water, should I have doubled the time to 30 mins instead of 15 mins.??
Hello there - so I just subscribed; I’m looking forward to learning more from your videos, again, thank you! I have two questions for you, if I may - I cooked this rice recipe the other day, and it turned out great. Would I be able to make it with the same directions as this one and adding frozen vegetables? Second question, this recipe here is a keeper for me th-cam.com/video/dsqvqMWhSTc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XeQeEUwZL7zvsufS - do you think that I could use the Ninja Speedi to replicate it, and if so, how would you recommend it in the machine. Pretty please 🙏🏼
It was a jasmine rice and looked sticky to me - the way I expect it to be. I wonder how the machine gets on with basmati where you need separate grains. I'm sure some rinsing would be needed.
That looked really good and quite simple to make. Thanks James

Do you use oil because you don’t wash the rice? What sort of rice is it?Long Grain?
Long grain. Oil helps not stick

@mikefort4930 yes I am. Just haven't done any videos. I'm just super busy with my job and family
Looking at getting the Speedi but I believe the top would hit my cupboards. Limited counter Space and the combo is $100 more.
What about Mexican rice?
Anyone can help find the recipe for sushi rise , cooking in ninja speed, please?
