    For me, Coach. Communication is a process of how we can generate information and sending to its destination effectively in different ways and means. By that, We generate other meaning of message in general that can be the outcome of our communication process that can lead to our social reality.
    My course brought me here and it gave me an idea about it. ❤️

    Communication happens, to me, on an intrapersonal and interpersonal level. The way we communicate with the outside world is very much a reflection of our inner communication process. The stories we tell ourselves have an influence on how we are able, or unable, to communicate with the world around us.
    When we are communicating within a defined culture, we tend to share more than we create. When we open ourselves up to other cultures and situations, we have to deal with different norms and values. This is where we create new communication, resulting in a (temporary) culture.

    Communication is the art of persuasion whereby the source of information is determined to share the information and create shared meaning with the receiver for the same and common understanding between them.

    I just watched Noam Chomsky on Talks at google youtube channel, and he said 2 things: 1 Language is thought NOT communication - because we miscommunicate all the time, if language evolved to communicate, then we wouldn't miscommunicate --- 2 human language does not have a 1-1 relationship with external physical things, animals make noises when things happen, but people have opinions and interpretations which are partially mental objects --- so from my point of view communication is us thinking collectively. Communication is collective thought being worked out in real time.

    Communication is the process of two or more people or groups exchanging information, ideas, thoughts, and feelings. It is a basic human activity that enables individuals to communicate with one another and exchange ideas, feelings, and experiences. There is a sender, a message, and a receiver in the communication process. The communication process involves understanding, sharing, and meaning, and it consists of eight essential elements: source, message, channel, receiver, feedback, environment, context, and interference. Among the models of communication are the transactional process, in which actions happen simultaneously, and the constructivist model, which focuses on shared meaning.

  • @ryoumakoushiro7447

    I myself define communication as a process on how each people sending information and try to convey the meaning of said information whether directly or indirectly. The reason why I put 'directly or indirectly' because we're currently living on an era where communication can be done in real time thanks to many digital means that can be utilized as the channel for this communication to be done such as smartphone.

    Dear Sir,
    According to me, the relationship between word and concept is called communication. Nature has given voice to man, not words. Language is man's own invention and because the human brain is pictorial, it,s only recognizes the picture, so communication ll not be completed until our word do not create the picture. According to Aristotle, there is a waxy substratum in our mind .Every experience that comes to our senses is imprinted on this waxy substrate and again when we go through the same experience, our words and sounds, taste, smell etc. match with the image imprinted on this waxy substrate if we already have it in our mind. If that image exists, the communication is complete; otherwise, a new image becomes a part of our mind, but the communication ll not completed. That's why we try to use words in our message that are already in our reader's or listener's frame of reference. enghlish is not my mother languge but i did my best to convey or share with you.

    I've always believed that communication is never one-directional thus it's not in one's intent or that meaning is in the words he/she chooses. It's what two/more people create in the process. And how they create it depends on the perception of the shared.

    It's not difficult at all if one really has studied it all of their life and with true education, actually helping people with it for decades; on here alone eleven years before you came around with only what you've read in some books. Communication is about 'messaging,' whether it be Inter-, Intra-, or InnerPersonal; and that's just among humans, which is all you cover like the others who came on at the same times to try and make money too. There are so many more levels and types that none of you cover as I do and others should, IF most of you really knew what it was all about and didn't have obvious friends at corrupt Google.

    • @alexanderlyon
      @alexanderlyon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I believe that communication can express who we are and it also shapes who we are (when we interact with other people). I don't think it defines who we are, however. Other people get to know who we are through out communication but I believe our identity comes from a deeper more lastly place than through interactions.
