I don't understand why people overlook this pick up, the face-lift is just detailed to perfection

Thank you for your comment. It is a hugely capable pick up.

Good review. I was never too keen on the L200/triton until i noticed it always gets high scores wherever you go. Never the top on anything, but always high on everything.

Bought the gt premium triton in sunflare orange a couple months ago but they couldnt deliver because of covid. Love this truck more than a year now and appreciate another awesome video that endorses my decision to purchase.

Thank you for the comment. The Triton is a an incredibly capable pickup and still keeps Mitsubishi at the top of the test drive list if you are looking for a pickup. I am really glad to hear you're happy with yours.

I am a Discovery 4 owner now for almost 3 years, love it and thankfully have had little bother, torn to go and buy this or not, hear horror stories about the radiator design flaw, causing the head gasket to blow and subsequently the engine block cracking.....

    • @AutoBears
      @AutoBears  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thanks for the comment. I've not heard any horror stories with the L200. Just a massive shame to see Mitsubishi pull out of Europe.

Great review! Looking to buy a S6 after having a S5. How much height clearance wouldn’t I have in the rear with a tonneau cover instead of a hardtop. Thanks!

I'm toying with the idea of getting a pick-up as a 3rd vehicle that can also be used as a car to replace my van. I do wonder why the ssangyong musso saracen and rhino never seem to get mentioned in the pickup line up. The kit levels, spec and 7 year warranty are attractive to me, as is the from factory hardtop which makes it look like an suv rather than a pickup with a box added to the back. Just my thoughts.

Nice one. I had an L200 recently too! I love a pickup and this is a good one. Nice review as always.

Great review, can't decide at the minute on a. Barbarian x or a Navara ngaurd which you would recommend? Which has the most room in the back for the kids?

Always thought that pick ups like Mitsubishi would look better with a raised centre console...

    • @AutoBears

Will have to see if the S7 comes with that raised console?

Hi, hope all is well and coping with the lockdown? nice to see you reviewing some non EV cars for us regular old fashion folk lol Personally not a fan of the exterior looks on this, but the interior looks like it has upped its game. Great review and hope to see you again at another press day

As an Aussie Triton's (L200) are the way to go in Australia. Hilux are dead in the water now days here.

17 % less power 25% increase in weight to power ratio 2.3 litre only 150 BHP claiming same torque as series 5 at lower revs? Towing it is gutless and It can only tow 3.5 tons on tri axle trailer no sat nav on top spec any more no rear axle Diff lock same old poor quality interior and poor quality paint the one I test drove was a Barbaran X they couldnt even get the rear tranfer right this is the Happy Shopper pick up Mitsubishi seem to be going down hill my series 4 was better than my series 5 and this vehicle series 6 was very disapointing on the extended test drive I had with it the only good thing is the super select 4WD system. My next truck wont be another L200 I personally think it looks ugly as sin and it had cheap tinny rattles from the back tub.

This is what euro 6 compliance has done the engine is capable of producing a lot more power.

@@jamesdaly6885 Other manufacturers get more HP and Comply with Euro 6 Compliance but Bitsoshitty are now leaving Europe & the UK and thats why they have offered this second rate vehicle

Apart from a knackered battery (not Mitsubishi’s fault as it was a battery fault) which was replaced. My barbarian x has been brilliant. Can’t fault it in any way. Coming from very nice SUV’s this is brilliant , I can’t understand why you slate them so much. Nothing wrong with my paint, interior is very comfortable and well put together. Mpg I’ve got nearly 46 to the gallon with a full bed full of stuff.
