Workplace bullying is a huge problem. I've seen really good workers get harassed and bullies don't have any consequences.

Never stay at a job that sucks your soul dry. Just leave with dignity. Make sure to plan ahead for future jobs by not saying anything negative. It does no good, as satisfying as it might feel to tell someone off. Have another job lined up first, if possible.

I love that Dr. Namie continues to speak up about this. Workers need protection.

It happened to me. Bullies I delt with still with the company sad to say management protect them.
I lost my job in 1997 after I got into a fight with a bully. I still suffer PTSD from bullying

I'm sorry. It seems like because bullies lovebomb managers, and only target victims, it's hard to get managers to address it.

      Love Bomb ring the bell.
Some Coworkers are nice until they start love bomb management. That how they get away with wrong doing.

I am very sorry that you suffered abuse and illegal crimes committed against you - and that bully purposely traumatized you. You never deserved that, and I'm so sorry you went through that. Much blessings and healings from the Heavenly Father your way 💜

They do this when you are a lot older worker as well even when you work hard, fast, effi iently and do a really good job. What makes it bad is when the Supervisor is doing it and encouraging others to do so as well.

      Yes, this is called mobbing.

I've been target in my office, and besides the threats of losing my job they also do not socialize in any way. Lately the team leader (also part of the mob) seems obsessed into getting me to go to lunch with this group outside the office. Really don't know how to react as this seems mandatory to her. Any ideas?

Your coworkers will probably not help you. In my case, the coworkers joined in with the bullying.

Same. We have a small staff and they are all friends. They make sure i know im NOT part of the group.

@@angelicarcturianmessagesan2830 not uncommon. The bully usually gets goonies around them cuz they’re too weak and pathetic alone.

@@iheartlol90 sad part is management and the owner are at the core of the “clique” i went to the owner about my concerns several times and even quit and came back after the first bully left but i am always gaslit with “i think your just being a victim” and “maybe its just not a good fit” after 3 years 🙄

@@angelicarcturianmessagesan2830 yeah they always have their excuses rather than addressing the real problem. My manager was a bully. His behavior just emboldened the main bully. Best thing to do in toxic environments is quit because they usually don’t change.

@@iheartlol90 yeah im in the process of making that decision now. Its a culture in this small town so i may end up somewhere else, less money, same problem.
I think im gonna move to the city in the spring where its less competitive in the “who knows/likes who” category. Its so high school here i cant stand it.

There is one....that is gunning to take me out. It's just a matter of time. She started bullying me approximately one month into my employment. Nothing will stop her insecurity around me. I am just biding my time at this job, and learning all that I can...so I can avoid this nasty, old alcoholic altogether.

I experienced workplace bullying in the military. No different from what I experienced with being bullied in elementary school ./
