@@fishwithcarl you have no idea how humbled I am to have seen your comment. It has been a journey of filmaking for the last 4 years, and it all started with the reservoir diaries and the dale hollow trip inspiring me! Thank you for everything you do! Much love from Canada 🇨🇦
fk sakes, i wrote a massive reply saying your an inspiration and it got deleted cause i reloaded my page🥲🥲🥲, love your videos though, happy to see you in the comments, i never would have imagined it.... I'm an American living in Romania for the last 8 years. I have a love for salt water fishing and fresh water fishing. Never have I fished for carp in America. It wasn't even a thought. After moving to Romania, I've taken up carp fishing and have been taught by my local friends. Finally, I have an idea of what I'm doing and have a great appreciation for the sport. Now I want to find the big fish! Thanks for taking time to make these videos. I appreciate it. Maybe some day, we'll fish together. Until then fir întins !
Thats awesome William, Romania has quite a few good waters to explore, all depending in which part of the country you're in. I started fishing for carp in Romania as a child and early teen, then came to Canada where I stopped for many years. Then around 10 years ago, it all came full circle and I started almost exclusively fishing for carp. All the best, fir intins!
I take my hat off. It's been a while since I watched such a top shelf quality film. Great anglers, great camera work, and finally a film where for a moment, I felt like I was actually there with ya'll. Thanks for all the hard work
I am so happy to have come across your channel, such good quality videos, really well made. No idea how you only have 2,000 subscribers. All the best and keep making these fantastic videos!
Still Awesome!! My twin brother and I have been there once the year before Covid lockdowns. We been planning to go back. It a fantastic lake. Great Video.
With out a shadow of a doubt you did not disappoint again Paul. Thanks for bringing these films to the world. Fantastic story telling and cinematography. Another epic adventure. Keep up the great work. 🍻
a colab between you guys would be rlly cool, obviously would be a lil difficult but hey, as a fan of you both hope this could be taken into consideration????? I would defo watch it😄😄😄😄😄😄
Paul, once again, you have outdone yourself again with another incredibly well shot, National Geographic tier documentary with a bit of fishing mixed in! Bravo!
Thanks Tim, the boat just gives you the most freedom, abeit the more expensive option. Once you start using one its hard to go back to shore access spots only!
Sadly, planning a carpfishing trip oversea is not cheap and easy but I had chance to fish in several places on the west coast like Lake Washington, Banks Lake, CJ Strike & Blackfoot. DH is definitively on my to-do list 🤞
Being from upstate new york, I've always been into walleye, smallies, trout, salmon, and muskies.... I stumbled on their video from dale hollow some years back. Which is what peaked my interest in carp fishing... I started really concentrating on carp fishing here on my home town river (the susquehanna) I also stumbled on your channel and as a small time youtuber myself. I really appreciate the effort you put into your videos and telling the story... It's not easy... TH-cam is a fickle place ... With as good as your videos are I'm not sure why your channel hasn't exploded... well anyways keep it up and if ever in upstate feel free to hit me up
Thanks Ralph, thats awesome you've gotten into carp fishing, its really something else! As for youtube, it is difficult but I do it so I have these videos to look back on in the future, the channel doing well is secondary! Make sure you reach out to me on insta, so I have your contact. I will def be back in the us, not sure when!!! Good luck and tight lines!
Brutal, I've been there, I've blanked 4 days one time, it was a hard lesson learned, but i did get one the 4th night, it was bittersweet. Its a character building experience!
Really enjoyed the video and just a little constructive criticism… I don’t think the F words are necessary for Fishing video. I swear a lot in my day to day life I’ll admit lol but if I’m documenting something I prefer it a little cleaner as I enjoy watching videos with my daughter and I’m sure others would as well. But phenomenal job on the fishing, editing and production
I have a question, a serious question I need to figure this out...Have you noticed a better bite rate/ catch rate with different fishing lines? I seemed to have better results with a brown mono on most waters...but Then I got some green braid, and I had the best results with that..and Past year I went back to brown mono, and I catch way less...SoI am wondering what is the best line to use?
This question can be two parts, one on dhl line to use, and general use line to use? But I had better results everywhere with the braid. including dale hollow.
@@soad4jt589 rlly? ive had better with mono, although i fish in england, so most likely also depends on the environment the fish grow in and how the line reflect tht environment, dont rlly know for sure though..........
I have not noticed line making a difference. I have fished mono and braid of different colors and I think as long as your linelay is good, some leadcore on the final section, it should yield same results. Saying this its very difficult to say with certainty that it doesn't make a difference as there are so many variables in fishing, its hard to keep the tesr 100% consistent!
