Very much enjoying your channel Paul - brings back memories of my US carping trips - haven’t fished in Canada sadly. By coincidence I fished that upstate NY lake many years ago and caught a beautiful 25lb Common from the muddy shallows opposite where you were fishing…Tight Lines ! Andy , west London UK.
Awesome to hear Andy! It is pretty wild how small the world it is, that upstate NY lake used to be a very well known and cherished water by the original Carp Angler Group anglers. Happy to hear you're enjoying the content, Im hoping to post more videos of my adventures soon! Cheers
@ spookily small world. It was meeting Pat Kerwin in Washington DC that got me involved with the CAG. This was way back when Mike Keyes and Bud Yancey were leading lights. We fished the Tidal Pond at the Potomac, great fun but exhausting due to the constant questions from rubber kneckers. We also had amazing trips to Chicago for the Chicago Bank Anglers match/social on the river by Michigan Avenue…almost as bonkers as your Central Park location. Will try to dig out photo of my fish from “Bedmire Pool” 😉
@@andyml1 Thats awesome Andy, its always interesting to hear about the adventures others had here in north america. I'm not sure well those sessions were documented, but theres some cool history there which im always interested in learning about!
As a carp angler from across the pond in England splitting boilies is a pain but a fantastic baiting option korda have a boilie kutter and krusher both excellent peace of kit an a massive help obviously u know of Korda as u have some of there products some nice fish u cought an top angling on those rivers enjoyed the video
Thanks! Yes, the Korda Krusher is definately another piece of kit that I will need to buy, most of my fishing is particle with whole boilies in the mix, but it definately would see alot of use on some campaigns, but the pain of bringing a bag full of kit is also a pain. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I'm moving to the US in May 24' from the UK and bringing my carp gear with me , Hopefully i can hook up with some US carpers and find out about some great places to fish ..
Hey Kevin, I would highly suggest you join the American Carp Society, and join the facebook group as well. There are many anglers that would be more than happy to help out! The US still has so much untouched water, so many places to explore!
@@TeamCarpFishing Thanks for replying , Already a member of the ACS , Looking to plan a An Autumn (Fall) trip to Dale hollow , I had a dream trip planned for September in France but due to unforeseen circumstances that trip wont happen . So hopefully Dale hollow will be a worthy substitute ...
@@kevinnoakes4638 Awesome Kevin. Dale is a wicked venue that I will be fishing this spring! Good luck hope you land some beautiful fully scaled monsters!
Each spot we fished we used a weight appropriate for the situation. If you dont have the need for a heavy lead, use a lighter one. Things like distance you are casting and current (if in a river) are two things to consider!
@@TUT-TUTT That is unfortunate. Here in North America, we have 100s of thousands of lakes that can be fished with a fishing license that costs maybe $50 a year. So much water to explore and pioneer!
That was very nice! ❤
Thanks for the bait again!!!! Much appreciated!
@carpbaitusa.. just seen this Lorenzo good stuff!
The future of American carp fishing is ahead.
Great movie sir.

I would love to fish America
Theres so much water, its hard to pick where to even start!
@ I’m from the uk and most our waters are really pressured unless you join a £700-£1500 a year place to fish

Stop watching when you started swearing! Only 2.26 minutes in. 👎
Sorry to hear but I try to make my videos as authentic as possible, and so you'll stumble upon a few curse words here and there!
