This was my favourite video from you this year! I have really been having a tough time this year, and you really helped me get motivated and make plans to get out to fish. To be able to go to my local fishing dam has saved my mentality and sanity, thank you for saving me ( I really needed it).

Last 2 work lunchtimes have been spent watching this and Carl's video. Love the fishing, but most of all I love watching a great group of people enjoying themselves. 4 very lucky people to have found such good friends and soulmates. That's another subscriber found in me :)

What a video - watched this and Carl’s back to back - you guys are amazing. Not only do you produce superb quality videos but they are so heartwarming too. I’d have murdered a mate if he’d buried my van like that but you guys are way beyond that level of friendship. My wife of 18yrs fishes with me and our 9yr old son - as you say when you find the right one they make your life totally complete in every way.
Fantastic video yet again Tom. Love how you can tell a story of all the highs and lows and capture the viewers attention throughout. Shame you never managed your PB but there's always the next time 😊

The rain got annoying eventually haha, but it was very atmospheric - I can remember exactly what it felt like to be sat in the main shelter listening to it pouring down on the roof, kinda cool really :)

Really enjoyed the film Tom. Please remember Carl is an extremely experienced Angler and you are comparing yourself against that experience. Stick to what you know, keep practicing the art of water craft and fish will come more consistently. Again loved the video dude, can’t wait for the next one 👍
You're completely right mate - I need to remind myself of that more often :) My big focus next year is to focus on learning and growing my skills as an angler, but one step at a time! All the best mate

haha! I'm glad you liked it :-) My main camera is a Canon R6, tend to use that for most stuff and compliment it with the Insta360 products - I'll check it out!

@ looked like a great time Tom and lovely video as ever , I’ve been in a van in the same situation stuck in mud upto the axle , that sinking feeling describes it exactly . If you want to see a landscape that is like no other check out lake Salagou, in the south of France for me that is the best lake I’ve visited in France , although it is not for the faint hearted as far as the fishing goes .
How many fish with Carl sweaters does Carl go trough on a trip like this? Or is it just the same one getting smashed? I´m just imagining his luggage containing only merch sweaters neatly folded.
I only own grey sweaters and I have 7 of them. One for every day of the week. hahaha
