Illbleed is a work of mad genius, Brainless Randy is one of the funniest characters ever in a survival horror game.
Illbleed is actually a pretty amazing game... kinda. It controls terribly and the gameplay makes no sense, but it's such an utterly bizarre experience that there's nothing else like it.

fun fact: the evil sonic is NOT the final boss of IllBleed, merely the final boss of some weird bonus character or soemthing the actual final boss is the girl character's dad who is lured out of hiding due to his daughter being naked and he got REALLY turned on.

Illbleed is a legit great underground game, probably my favorite DC game. Funny & wild as hell too!
But as we know, anything Sega related immediately gets vetoed by Vinny, even if it's good.

It's a shame Crazy Game's president died before they made that sequel.
Illbleed didn't seem to explain itself well. When your senses spike, there's danger nearby that you must spot before it scares you.

Oh wow, you're totally right. Man, I wonder whatever happened to Ryan. I always thought he had a great voice, but he hasn't been in much since the early 2000s.
SEGA seemed to have a handful of favorite voice actors in the Saturn and Dreamcast eras. Illbleed's purple hair girl is voiced by Lani Minella, Rouge's voice actor. The skinny guy with the silver hair in Burning Rangers is voiced by Knuckles' voice actor.

AortaPlatinum nah it’s just that they had Lani do casting for most in house games with English translations and she always picked people she was familiar with, like Ryan, and later David (Shadow) in a 2008 German point and click adventure game she worked on English casting for.

Illbleed is a hidden treasure.......and you need to know the game before going in, it is NOT a game that lends itself to blind playthroughs (Gameplay wise I mean, storywise go in AS BLIND AS POSSIBLE.).

Agreed. I grew up with it and barely heard of Mario Party. Every negativity I hear is comparing it to Mario Party, so I personally can't take those arguments seriously (Although I admit it was created to compete with those games). I was so sad when my disc broke. :(

I swear, The Ring is probably my favorite z grade game in existence. Ever since I caught that Spoony video about it years and years ago, I’ve been obsessed. Most of the time I will think of the SPLORT sound out of nowhere, or I think of how quickly she gets over her husband’s death and I still laugh hysterically after all this time!

fun fact about that game called LoL. It was made by a group who made some other games including Moon: Remix RPG Adventure. Moon's apparently a super good cult classic game that was on a system few people bought. It actually inspired undertale, though toby only ever heard the premise of the game and that's what inspired him since the entire point of the game is fixing the fuckups and horrible actions the actual "main character" did to the world of an in game JRPG like a sorta retribution. Game sadly never got translated (though there is an LP where the guy real time translates the game as he plays it) but it's apparently exceptional. The devs, Love-de-Lic, have a cult following but have long closed their doors, with the people who made these games going to various other studios since. One funny tidbit of moon remix RPG is that one or a few of the devs worked on parts of super mario RPG and even parody it in Moon with their own version of geno.
Isaac Argesmith there are some people doing a fan translation translation of the game actually, but it’s been going on for years and apparently the translator wants to put in the unused content into the game??? It’s been a while since I read up on the progress.

her boss fight in-game is stupider, if you can believe it. Spoilers, she's a brain hooked up to a giant machine, and you cyber-dive in to fight her with a katana as she swings her hair at you in a kimono.

I was lucky to have good Dreamcast games
Illbleed's a great game, Worth playing through without emulation/audio glitches. It and Blue Stinger are some of the prime horror-comedy games on the DC.
I just had the displeasure of playing The Ring. It's awful, though its one point in its favor is that the music is not as bad as emulation makes it out to be. Really wish they would have put more effort into it.
Illbleed sonic still looks better than the movie trailer.
