My motorcycle is new and i like to install the speedometer you installed. But lets say i have only 1000 miles. So you can configure the miles thats has been ran on your motorcycle ?????
hi ! are you sure that the black cable is connected to ground-battery minus ? i have the same device, same menus, same colours and my black cable powers on the device ! of course my rpm is not working...
Thanks for the tutorial. When you say the wire is "power to the speedo all the time" what do you mean by that and how would you wire it? Would you just run a wire to the positive terminal of the battery separate from the ignition wire? Wouldn't that drain your battery constantly? Even if you add a switch to this wire I don't see how that's different from the ignition power source. My speedo seems to work fine with just the black ignition wire hooked up and powers on but will my settings not be saved?
Hello, sorry my english but i'm using google translator, i wanted to ask you a question; I have purchased your own speedometer but I can not run the tachometer how can I do it? I have a ducati monster 600 with carburettors and I can not get it running, could you give me a hand? thank you so much
What is the exact size to set the 1st menu ... the standard numbers that are the km / h are not exact! What is the calculation to be made for the right measure?
Hey there sir, I have just installed one of these on my bike today, and the Menu number 4 is actually the quantity of cables that you have on the fuel meter, it can be either a plug with 2 or 3 cable, if you choose the wrong one it inverts the way it measures. like it will show Full when your are on empty and vice versa. I was wondering if you know how can i put my actual mileage on the new speedo. i dont want it to be zeroed out. nice video btw, thanks
Hey all, I've got everything working on a CB750 SOHC except stopping the fuel meter from flickering. You say you added a 27ohm resistor,I added a 45ohm resistor, but this means between blue/white and 12v line, correct? When I turn on the gauge with blue/white connected it does light up the gauge with a full tank. It looks the same as if I connect the 12v line directly to blue/white. The digits light up a bit too much in my opinion, like it has overvoltage or something. It seems that I have the same type of gauge as yours, the one with the large numbers in the menus. I tried changing the 'fuel resistance setting' but no difference here. Edit: I just read in one of the comments here that this menu is for selecting two- or three wire fuel sensor. For wiring this type of gauge (the one with the big digits in the menu), this seems to be the right diagram: Wiring instructions 9pin connector: Fleet blue: right signal Positive polar connection Blue: distance light Positive polar connection Brown/white: outline marker lamp Positive polar connection Orange: left signal Positive polar connection Yellow/black: speed signal wire Green: negative pole(any negative pole or ground ) Blue/white: fuel signal wire Red: positive battery connection Black: positive electric door lock connection 3Pin connector: (connect to the speed sensor line) Red/white: positive speed sensor connection Green: negative speed sensor connection Black/white: speed sensor signal wire connection 6 pin connector: Green/red: negative N gear connection Pink: negative GR-1 connection Blue/red: negative GR-2 connection Green/black: negative GR-3 connection Yellow/red: negative GR-4 connection Yellow/white: negative GR-5 connection 2 pin connector: Green/white: negative GR-6 connection
Fixed it, somehow the 45ohm resistor works now. I soldered it between blue/white and ground! This helped solving the problem: www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/attachment.php?attachmentid=98147&stc=1&d=1374540521
Hi Laurens Da Costa, what year is the cb you connected it to? Have an cb 750f2 from 1978 and can’t get the rpm to work. Tried everything wrapping around the spark plug wire, connecting it to the bleu or yellow wire going into the coils. Doesn’t work. Any suggestions? Tnx
The 2nd menu 1-12 is the number of magnets, 3rd is CYL count, 4 is Fuel, 5 resets mileage, i have same guage, tach not working for me - 1980 xs1100 connected to - side of coil, tried both sides but tach does nothing other than when i turn key on
Justin Cash I actually got the rpm working! I connected the sensor wire from the gauge to the green wire of the igniter (also called cdi or ecu). However, I have electronic ignition .
Hi there, I have the same device. I hooked everything up using your instructions and everything works fine but the RPM... I can't get it to work and I'm getting frustrated...
Grazie puoi mandare le foto ? io ho suzuki tu250x . il filo rosso hai collegato direttamente alla + batteria ? il mio rpm non funziona potrebbe essere problema di scarsa alimentazione ? il resto funziona tutto fuel +frecce+contaKm ok . grazie send to: mercrai@tin.it tks
i dont know my motorcycle is yamaha vixion 150 2009,before i am use another speedometer connect rpm to red cable pulser it is work but when use speedometer like my rpm is not working
you're a nice dad! thanks you're video was great
You should show the installation step by step
The adapter that it came with for the cable, did you use that for the speedo cable or the tach cable ?
Did you try plugging the factory fuel gauge wire(s) into the new gauge?

How can I find the tach ( speed signal ) wire on the motorcycle. Thank you

wire from cdi is the same wire who goes to ignition coil +?
Color of the RPM cable and where do you connect it?

Interesting, thanks for info.
haven't found way to put mileage in. it starts at zero.

could you xplain all menu please and options
Hey, did you get the tach to work? I'm getting frustrated! 😬
Nope, ended up reusing the OEM tach, this Chinese thing is used for speedo which is somewhat accurate and neutral light and signals that's about it
Justin Cash I actually got the rpm working! I connected the sensor wire from the gauge to the green wire of the igniter (also called cdi or ecu). However, I have electronic ignition .
Ah, yea my oem tach runs off the alternator/rectifier, grats on getting it working though :)
What is the name of the Speedometer
Hi there, I have the same device. I hooked everything up using your instructions and everything works fine but the RPM... I can't get it to work and I'm getting frustrated...
update. I finally have the rpm working. I connected it on the ignitor wire. My bike is a suzuki gs550e. if anyone needs help I can send pics.
What is ignitor wire ???
Clément HENON I'm trying to post pictures here but I can't... Send me your email address
RPM wire goes to ignition wire. at 5:25 in video is where i hooked it.

4 is voor the fuel resistance
hello bro can you give me solution... my rpm not working
RPM is Yellow/Black wire on gauge. I spliced mine into Yellow wire under tank. seems to work fine.
What is the yellow wire under your tank?
i dont know my motorcycle is yamaha vixion 150 2009,before i am use
another speedometer connect rpm to red cable pulser it is work but when use speedometer like my rpm is not working
naavi fajrin I believe there's a cdi unit on your bike. try connecting the rpm sensor wire directly to each of the wires coming out of the cdi unit.
My motor is using ECU not CDI, but I've tried connecting rpm cable from ECU to speedometer but still not working

Dude, NEVER film in portrait mode. Come on, this is basic online video rules.
