Definitely More Ford Videos, I like LS engines, But I was lucky enough to be part of the mid 90’s when Fun Ford Weekend in Bradenton was still big, built and lived mustangs for years, love seeing these Ford videos.
It was a privilege to work with these guys cant wait to get a new trans in next week maybe i can get kyle to come to dunes and do some real ripping with it on 38 inch paddles now it will have its 4 link with full floater more boost and a few more little things
The converter sounds a little loose to me. I’m by no means an expert but wouldn’t you want it to bring the engine down at least a little on the shifts? Awesome ride either way!!!
Kyle, I would like to see a video of a complete pass in the Mustang, from getting it off the trailer, to prep, in car burn out, staging, in car view of the pass, down the return lane, to reading the time slip.
Great video! It's great to see day in the life kind of videos like this. Could be work or not work related. Thanks for sharing this really interesting build, pretty unique.
Kyle you are the Ford man!!! Thanks for keeping the small block Ford engine legacy going!!! That is a BadAss Bronco thanks for posting this video really enjoyed it!!!
I’m a small block ford guy too! I have 2 fox bodies with 427s, one street around 650 or so hp with a tko5 speed and the other 1400-1500 hp, power glide, sc1/yates heads, blah, blah. It’ll run high 460s-470s, which isn’t too bad for a 3000lb 88gt. One day, lord willing, I’m gonna get y’all to build me a rowdy, rowdy, sbf twin turbo deal. Love the videos man.
Kyle, so great to hear you say you're a SB Ford guy. The most Boss SBF ever is probably the TT one in Aussie Frank Marchese's '70 Ford Falcon. Car weighs nearly 4,000lb, full factory interior including the huge steering wheel, won Aussie Drag Challenge Week 2018, and has bests of 6.96/211 in the 1/4 mile !!
427 small 😊. Years ago, anything above a 302 was stepping into some HP. I recall the 351 Cleveland I ran. Due to the high, (for the era), air flow, swap to a *Holley Street Dominator* manifold, that engine would wear out right side rear tires quickly.
Nice truck! Like your enthusiasm and interaction with your customer. You are really getting good at this video thing. SME is a class business. Keep it up.
Truck i sold when i moved to Mid West and kicking my ass still was a 77 F250 High Boy with custom set of springs and for a Engine it had a 429 SCJ that was built by me. It had enough power to smoke all 4 39x18 M/T tires but yet mild enough to rock crawl it. Nice Bronco but am a fan of the older body. Thank you Kyle and SME. Keep up the videos
Really nice setup Bronco. It moves out pretty good for a heavy 4x4 truck on all-terrain tires. I was actually hoping to see more torque than it produced but it's sweet as is.
I was thinking the 427 Ford was the sister engine of the 428. I know the 427 was a sought out after engine back in the '70s but not sure about the details. Personally, I still prefer the little 302 Ford. Well, at least the coyote with those awesome! Flowing heads
You are correct....the Bronco in the video here is a bored and stroked 351 Windsor though, the 302's bigger and beefier brother, and this is a common stroker combo at 427 cu in !!
As a guy who grew up owning Fox body mustangs...I'm a small block Ford guy too. Very easy to work on and make decent power with just bolt-ons. Factory blocks of that era left a bit to be desired tho. 500ish HP+ you were flirting with disaster if tune not good or RPMs were up, even then, it might be a lottery. lol. Then they went from forged to hyperutectic pistons in 91 I think? dumb move by Ford. I've a 97 Cobra all stock with intercooled Procharger I installed 4 yrs ago, small boost as kit made specifically for the stock cast pistons. 340LPH FP, 60lb Siemenns injectors, tune...etc. Made 400WHP on a Mustang dyno. 6-7 lbs boost. Ran 12.28@116 with 1.9 60'. Full weight, only spare and jack were took out. Ran 13.64 @103 before blower, nothing else changed, just got boosted.

Good Job! I hope he knows how to drive good, those rolled fairly easy when they were stock height! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
