HOW TO FIX BROKEN PS4 R2 L2 TRIGGER BUTTON ON CONTROLLER - Easiest Fastest Way (no disassembly!!)

This is if you are desperate and about to give up on your controller. There are more detailed longer videos on TH-cam that allow you to fix it kind of. But this is to remove the trigger and use the rubber button undernearh. Kind of a cut the middleman type fix. Its easy. Fast. And saves u tons of time n b.s.

IMPORTANT NOTE*****
shorly after this i was able to pop my r2 button back in. You just have to make sure both side clips on r2 button are cut or ripped off before popping it back into place. So no spring, no side peg/clip things. Then pop it back in and it works 95% perfectly. Hope this helps!

just buy those little clips for maybe €0,50 and dissembly the back of the controller, then put the clip on the r2 button and click the button back in

Dude just get a plastic straw bend it in half then kinda bite the bended part and stick it in there but if I still keeps falling out then but the it more and stick it farther

Thanks, this really did work. Had to do mine a little different, the tissue worked but eventually gave out so I took paper, folded it a few times to make it thicker then put that in. Works really great

HOW TO GET IT BACK IN WITHOUT TAKING APART: what I did I sanded down the two parts that were getting stuck(I used concrete to sand them down) and BOOM it should go right in(make sure to clip it in) also the trigger does NOT fall out

You don't have to buy a new controller you can just buy the parts you need and put them in it. This is WAY cheaper than buying a controller. FYI the standard PS4 controllers are poor quality. It also takes $18 for Sony to make them, and they sell them for $65.
