CELEBRITY is RIDICULED After Using Fillers and Botox!

  • Kristen Davis has recently opened up about both her good and bad experiences with Botox and fillers. After using both Botox and fillers, Kristen experienced a change in her appearance, and she began to receive ridicule because of these changes. These products are so often used by individuals looking to replace lost volume and to combat aging in general. While Dr. Karam is not fully against fillers, there are inarguable facts that we shouldn't be ignoring. First, make sure you are getting filler ONLY in areas where volume loss has actually occurred, such as along the temples or under the eyes. Second, don't forget that fillers NEVER go completely away, which means adding them regularly is actually going to change your appearance, and not make you look younger. Third, fillers are not a facelift. It is common for people to see laxity in their face and neck and turn to fillers to fix it, but the reality is that surgery is the only way to address this issue. In the end, though, by using a facelift like Vertical Restore, you will have a more NATURAL, youthful appearance...not pillowface.

    People are so nasty and judgemental-they criticise you if you look old, then attack you if you get work done. But these hypocrites are always young-their time will come, then they'll know how it feels

    • @UltimoDogLover

      Or just do the right interventions. Dr. Karam has explained how. If you don't want or can't afford a good facelift when the time comes, you still shouldn't overfill and make yourself look freakish and altered. But agreed that people should not be nasty about it. People shouldn't be making gratuitous comments about someone else's appearance at all. Unfortunately, should and reality are different things.

    It’s so good to hear this, as I am 62 and have experienced my face aging. There are too many women who have used filler to plump up their face. They look awful in my opinion. I think a facelift is my only option.

      IDK why fillers exist tbh-they dont fix the underlying problem. I guess theyre offered as a cheaper alternative to facelifts. I had some and granted, I was much happier afterwards but I did look a bit weird and 'stuffed' and had a ridge under one eye. And the muscles just kept on sagging underneath so it was a very short term solution and and I looked hideous one year later.

I always disagreed with them so I haven’t got it done yet. I did not know how to explain that I didn’t want my face to look blow up like all my friends. I actually look more attractive than I did when I was younger and other people seem to find me more attractive now. Maybe it’s partially due to the fact that I have more confidence.

    Also doc, when it comes to lifting procedures, how well is the healing process with less visible scars or the possibility of keloids developing for individuals who are black and brown?

    • @dramirkaram
      @dramirkaram  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      My patients heal beautiful, the incisions are in the hairline so even when they are in the beginning of the healing process, it is easy to hide them. With that being said, everyone heals differently and scars differently based on their genetics. So yes, if a patient is predisposed to keloids and scarring, the possibility of visible scars are higher.

    • @PiXie232
      @PiXie232 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s something I’m really concerned about as well. I’ve only ever had one keloid scar but it’s smack in the middle of my chest.. close enough to my face that it worries me if I get a facelift. I’ve had it removed multiple times but it always came back. The only thing that’s worked for it since i stopped getting it removed is consistently using lactic and glycolic acid on it. It’s now almost completely flat (still visible though.. but not anywhere near to what it was in previous years) and hopefully it will continue to diminish over time.

    I don't know why celebrities feel the need to open up about their personal life including things they do to improve their life, looks etc. It's nobody's business. And it leaves them feel even less because humans being the vile creatures they are, they would ridicule you, no matter what you do. If any ask respectfully decline to answer and let people believe whatever they want. You can Love me for my craft, anything outside what I don't share you like or don't is on you. Celebrities need to work on their self esteem self worth in order to not feel validated by John and Jane doe you don't know or seek approval from the public which is the worst thing you can do to your Psyche. And this goes for regular folks who are not in that world.
