I'm pretty sure that when Diana called them for the last time, they said that they couldn't talk at the moment as they were going to do something and that they would call her the next day. They never did because when they would have she was dead.

If the driver did not speed trying to play cat and mouse she might be alive today . The British security is taught no to try and out run the paparazzi . Diana died because she made bad decisions after bad divisions . No seat belt was her last mistake .

I agree. She was far from ready to ever marry again. She loved Charles so much. Unfortunately for her and her boys this whole scene is so heartbreaking.
That "tomorrow night" never came. Instead all they got was they were never going to see her ever again, EVER!! They just talked to her hours ago and all of sudden, she was gone! And they had to be woken up in the middle of the night to know about it. And they had to face the entire world that sees their suffering and pain of losing their mommy. If what's depicted in this scene were really true, I am glad that the last words that they heard from their mommy was that she loved them. They didn't have to guess, they didn't have to speculate about their parent(s)' love for them like many children had to do when their parent(s) died, they knew so because their mommy told them so.
What Im still trying to understand is why they left the Ritz hotel to go into all that mess on the road with all the people chasing after them 😢
From what I seen years ago they tried going out the back and they had a decoy car go one way and they were gonna go the other way but people caught on and they were chasing after the car for pictures and she didn't have a seatbelt on I don't think it's been awhile since I watched anything about her or her passing but the flashing of the cameras and the speed they were going trying to get away from the paparazzi just sadly ended badly
Also I believe the driver of her that night had been drinking I can't remember if he was off and called in kind of thing and was already drunk thinking he wasn't needed or was on duty and drank anyways but I forgot about that being said to

I don’t know why they wrote this this way. Harry himself said that he carries guilt because the day she called. He wanted to go play with his cousins and he didn’t talk to her but for like one minute.

It's not about the place. It's about the people. It could also happen in London.
This is not historically correct (since nobody knows the truth other than the Princes) but it probably is pretty close to how the last call went. The actual last call to them was very short because the boys were playing with cousins at the time.
What’s shown here is true regarding the relationship with Dodi. Prince William confirmed that his mother gave him no indication that she was engaged or soon to be engaged to Dodi. If she had been seriously close to marriage (to anyone), Prince William would have been the first to know. This was confirmed by the majority of her friends.
Note: Prince William was not asked about her ‘marriage thoughts’ on Hasnat Khan in the initial set of inquest questions.
Sadly, I think she was waiting to get back to London to plan her next move. Such a tragedy.

To the people and especially the Brits who keep saying that they wish she didn’t go to Paris, implying that New York or London were safer for her or that they can blame Diana’s death on the French people, you are being RIDICULOUS ! Diana was harassed wherever she was, whether it was New York, London, Madrid, Rome or Paris ! Paparazzis exist in England and in the US too.
You can’t possibly think that Paris or France or the French people are to blame for this tragic accident. If you truly think so, let me ask you this simple question : why didn’t Diana wear a seatbelt in that car that night ?

Everybody knows that when you are in a car, you must wear a seatbelt. Diana wasn’t stupid, so what didn’t she wear one that night ? I get that many people around the world loved Diana, but that doesn’t give you the right to blame the French for that tragedy. It could’ve happened in London, New York.
Oh, and by the way, it is known that Diana refused the protection of the British policemen even when she was abroad.
The truth is Diana made poor choices the days before and that night. I’m not victim blaming Diana, I liked her, I’m just stating a fact. She was not reasonable. If she had worn a seatbelt, she might have survived the crash, although she would have been probably seriously injured. If she had let British policemen escort her in Paris, she probably would have been safer and would have never got on that car.
She would not have been allowed to sit in a car with a drunk driver.
So, even if you don’t like France as a country or Paris, you can’t logically blame this tragedy on France and the French.
It’s NOT our fault.

Just a cut? He was disfigured with multiple injuries and was in intensive care. Diana and Dodi didn't wear a seatbelt which caused them to slam into the seats at 90ml an hour. The bodyguard had his seatbelt on which is why he survived

My classmate died in a crash. He was the sole person dead in the accident and he was sitting in the back WITH NO SEATBELTS ON. Seatbelts are extremely important in accidents. They literally save lives.
