Thank you very much!!, that means a great deal to me, I may not have 2 or 3 videos out every week but I really try my best making each video. The support is very much appreciated 😎👍
Thanks Martin!, glad you enjoyed it , I felt there wasn’t that many videos out there for someone getting into cleaning cars like my brother and having a video to explain things might work. Appreciate the feedback mate 🙌🏻
Garage Therapy putting their Decon Shampoo in with the Zero Iron Oxide is quite frankly a totally genius move! The more I think about it the more it makes sense. I can see me switching from Korrosol to GT tbh. I already use GT Decon Shampoo so it just makes sense for me and the process I use to detail my cars. Great stuff Graeme, extremely helpful this has been for me, cheers
Thanks mate, that’s really kind of you to say that , I really appreciate that!! You def need to try a bottle , it’s really incredible stuff , especially after the dwell to take a damp cloth and gently wipe over , totally game changing 🙌🏻
@@swift2117 well I guess being as I've already got Korrosol and GT Decon shampoo I could just put a bit of Decon Shampoo in with the Korrosol and make my own concoction. Now that's got to be worth trying!

Thanks Ian, around a year of filming wee bits here n there , originally I filmed the Bilt Hamber part with my older F30 BMW , didn’t know what to do with the film but I was asked if I’d start doing more content for beginners so voila 🤣 Glad you enjoyed it 🥰
Excellent video Graeme. Clear and precise explanation of what Fallout Removers are, the differences between them AND how to use them properly. Great music, great editing - spot on mate 👌🏼👍🏼
Hi Graeme, thanks for the informative review. Your attention to detail in providing well thought out viewer information is outstanding. Very best wishes.
Thanks Paul, it’s astonishing that in only really a couple of years GT has become one of the top brands offering some of the best quality products around , you’ve really got to admire the commitment of Maz & Rodger for what they’ve brought to the table. Next up to try is the new improved Iron Oxide 😀 Glad you liked the video mate, appreciate your feedback 👍
Fantastic review, what a great channel to hone your skill leave and pick up loads of useful tips. Thanks you for sharing your knowledge I find the channel very enlightening!
Great video pal. 14:10 in the video had me laughing my ass off. I'm a fan of bilt hamber products and have been using their products for a years. Mainly Autofoam and Korrosol but have recently switched to Infinity wax's Powerfoam as I was needing to use 380ml of Autofoam per wash which is roughly £1.80 per wash, which is quite expensive IMHO. With Powerfoam I only need 50ml per wash and it cleans just as well at about 30p per wash. I'm definitely going to try out this Garage Therapy iron remover when I've finished my bottle of Korrosol
I agree with OCD Martin, a great video Graeme, very interesting. I've not tried GT fallout remover yet but it looks excellent. I use BH Korrosol but don't forget they do the same product in a thicker format, Auto Wheel! It's safe to use on paintwork although designed for alloys.
Haven’t tried the Garage Therapy but have used the Korrosol quite a bit, does the job very well. For maintenance I have also use it at 1:1 dilution and it works very well for well maintained cars, and doesn’t smell as potent.
I didn’t realise diluting fallout removers was a thing, that’s interesting to hear , I’ve heard of it being used as a pre wash for ceramic cars too, the research continues 😅
@@GMDetails don’t know if bilt hamber would recommend it but it’s a water based fallout remover so works fine if you do. Give it a try and see what you think 😀
Spot on, if you’re actually doing a thorough Decon of your car then GT iron oxide with a long dwell and agitation is the one you want! Great point about only using these when needed as they are expensive chemicals too as they are definitely over used on instagram in particular, and I’d never do anything silly just for the gram 😂
Thanks mate, I’ve seen the AutoGlym fallout remover is very cheap and a completely different type of acid , think it’s £20 for 5L of it , keen to try that next
It certainly has that ability a bit like Meguiars Wash plus, but with acid 😅 Obviously it’ll depend on the level of contamination but it’s certainly something you should try
Can you explain the difference between fullout remover and iron full out remover for E.g Autoglym sell both forms of Fullout removers with the description of each product very similar, while the price isn’t. Do they both remove iron full out? Or do they remove different contaminants overall.
Hi Greg, they both do the same thing , remove ‘fallout’ which is things like hot brake disc fragments or anything metal which gets hot and embeds itself on your clear coat. There is a difference with some reactive wheel cleaners and fallout removers though, slightly different chemicals for different purposes but Garage Therapy Iron Oxide (that’s the name for the fallout) can do all of the jobs in one product , if you haven’t already tried it I highly recommend you to get some 👌
@@GMDetails thanks Graham! I’m buying a white car so keeping it nice is a top priority. How often would you recommend such a task doing 1000 miles a month?
Twice a year full decontamination if you plan on keeping on top of cleaning it every few weeks , white cars keep clean longer than you think if you have a good wax or sealant on them 👌
Do these products damage plastics at all, my VW Polo GTi has a plastic trim, if these products run onto it will it create any issues? I ask because I have a tar & glue remover thay can't come into contact with plastic trim, so can be fussy to use? Another fab video, thanks.
I’ve heard of Autosmart Tardis tar remover damaging plastics , not heard much about fallout removers doing any damage but strong pre washes like traffic film removers should also be avoided with some plastic trims too, I had some plastic trim damaged on my last BMW from a caustic snowfoam, trouble being there’s no way of proving it was x or y chemical , and most reviews won’t take the risk of damaging stuff on their own car so basically the best advice I can give is to avoid any chemicals that have any kind of caustic soda in them.
@@GMDetails thanks for the response. The chemical in question is Gtechniq Tar & Glue, I didn't research properly, just saw it gives good results, now I have it, it says, don't get it on the plastics, so I'm going to try wetting a make up pad with the formula and sticking it to the panel, that should prevent the formula running onto the plastic 👍
I hadn’t topped with anything all summer then during the winter started using different things, I started with GT SIGMA, then over winter a spray n rinse sealant
been using decon shampoo for a while now and love the stuff, will have to try their fallout remover now. have you done a video on coating your wheels at all mate? kkd relolve is a wheel coating ive been looking at to do my car with. how did you find application of it?
Thanks Ashley , I did record the application and I’m running a long term test of it to do a review of the coating , I found it quite a tricky coating at first but it’s one you can quickly understand the application, I followed the only application process on TH-cam and it really helped me otherwise I’d have really f**led it up 🥴
Good comparison. But, for me, although not necessarily the Korrosol, I prefer a thinner liquid.that naturally finds it's way over the entire panel. A thicker product surely means you've got to cover the whole surface. If you missed a bit, it remains untreated. No?. Well that's my perception. Still, really enjoy the demo.
Great point! Thinner can sometimes dry really quickly , Infinity wax had that problem with theirs last time I used it , but it’s def a Goldilocks moment getting the right one
Autoglanz, GB Detailing, Detail Bug, Wax Planet , Mean & Clean are all very reasonably priced and have a great range to choose from Paul, seems the end of the EZ sales now they’ve moved onto a subscription service eh? 🤔
Not impressed by the Korrosol. Seems the clay mitt was the only thing shifting the stubborn rust spot. You would never see such poor result from Bilt Hamber on Jon Delieu's Forensic Detailing channel due to his Bilt Hamber bias.
I didn't like v1 of the garage therapy, too foamy and weaker than bilthamber korrosol, I'll give v2 a try to sw if it's better but gyeon beats them both in summer conditions
Hi Phil, it wasn’t weaker than BH, it was the zero decon preventing the quick reaction of the TGA, just meant you could leave it on longer but seems it wasn’t giving the usual GT user experience , I’ll report back when I get to try the V2 , haven’t used the Gyeon one yet, sounds ideal in summer 👌
