I'm a DYI guy myself but I wouldn't take on such a project you show in your videos, I'm very impressed with your work, nice details. It almost make me what to try a project of my own, you make it look easy. Do you contract and part for customers?

Hey! Hey 👋 My oven is a very basic composite oven. Heating element, fan and PID controller. I’ll be making a new oven soon and I will record everything. Watch out for that video. Tanks for watching. 🤟
@@zrcarbon9937 hi there, first off congratulations, great results! I as many others am interested in the curing oven. Have already built an insulated wooden box with rockwool panels and aluminium wrapping. As for the PID controller, I’ve looked around and found what you have on your eBay link, but was wondering whether these can actually ramp heat? It seems they just maintain a set temperature, so do how do you ramp the heating for postcuring the EL160? I’m guessing you just keep the heating at a certain temperature for the required time, then increase manually to the next temperature? Not ideal as you’ve got to go back to the workshop every two hours or so (if I remember correctly the EL160 needs the temperature to be raised every two hours right)? Oh it’d be nice to just buy the Easycomposite curing oven eh? At 3000€ it’s just out of my budget :-(
No gloves? Good sir, epoxy resin is no joke. You can get sensitized by this. Once you are, you cant get near epoxy ever again without getting an allergic reaction. Additionally the grease from your skin can cause delamination of the part.. It's surprising to me that people in this profession still work like this 🤦
@@zrcarbon9937 absolutely ! I meant weight ,in this case, is not the discriminatory variant: carbon still remains more mechanically resistant than the oem plastics ...adding to the wow factor 🤟
I built a full carbon Panigale some ten years ago! Carbon frame, carbon rims, carbon subframe even carbon brakes! Nice job man
Thanks man
I would like to have something similar one day.
Carbon frame? Like a cover for the frame or the actual structure of the bike out of carbon?
@@TheG60528XiJinPing Entire bike from carbon! Main frame is carbon, rear subframe is carbon, fueltank is carbon, wheels are carbon etc

comparing your tradegy mold to your skills result is 10. congratulation.
would really love to see a video about your oven build if you have time !
Nice dude! Can you please make a vid on your oven??
Very good video, nice work. Better to wear nitrile gloves when applying the release agent and handling the prepreg material.
Hey,
Thanks for the shout out on the gloves. Appreciate your feedback!
Amazing work! Dream superbike Ducati 1199 r tricalore!

Fantastic job. 👍🏾 That does definitely take both time and commitment.
Thanks! It dose take a long time for sure 🛠🤟
Question about the pump.. is it the same pump they use for HVAC
Got any more infomation on your oven? Great work btw
Thanks so much. I’m planning to build a new oven, better oven. Will be recording the whole process. 🤟🛠

What is your temperature controller for this oven?
Are those white sheets PVC? Amazing job!
Thanks so much for the compliment!
They are polyurethane sheets.

I done one thick layer of gel coat. Yes I have post cured my mold. Debulking is very important. Thanks 👍
Any reason you have used xc130 auto clave prepreg instead of xc110 out of auto clave?
Hey!
I found it easier to work with
@@zrcarbon9937 cool, notice any difference in surface finish?
I achieved better surface finish when I use both prepreg.
Why do you vacuum inside of the oven?

How did you build your oven?👌
I’m actually going to rebuild my oven. Will get a video done of the process. Cheers 🤘
But what is with the other side of the carbon?
That side staying as it is. That side is not seen and no point to have perfect finish on it. Just like the fairings. Only one side is looking good.
Hi i would like to ask.. what is the temperature you use to ?
Hey!
The temperature is 4h 100c than 1h 120c
Not more than 3C temperature increase every minute.
Do you make carbon for customers?
Yes I do! Drop me an email at zrc.works@gmail.com and let me know what you’re interested in
what is that grey material you made a mold off

I used high temp gelcoat

no resin ?
Hey
I used prepreg carbon fibre
The carbon fibre is pre pregnated with resin. It is stored in freezer under-18C to slow down the curing process. 🛠️🤘
at 10:22, what is the second valve attached to?
I was just baking a different part at the same time
I didn’t See the resin in the process
