    Thought I would try to lay up decals straight into the mould.. And results were amazing 😍

      What happens instead if you stick the sticker to the mould?

      @@skogzor maybe work 🤷 I imagine sticking it on fresh release agent wouldn't be very tricky.

      2:27 -> weave directions same as previous layer (still 0-90° ↑→). You'd have to cut the material with the +/-45° in mind ↘↗ (you'll maybe have more scraps leftovers ). I see that EC don't have Biaxial in prepegs...only Unis. Keep it up 👍, can't wait to upgrade to prepegs. Regarding the sticker, are you not concerned about color fading ?

    Which is the best form to create an interior details for an Audi A5 (dors, central and front console), create moulds or cover original pieces?? I like you job and pieces a lot

      Interior pieces that have lots of clips to hold in place are often easier to cover over the part.

      @@CarbonWorkshops By applying a thin layer of carbon to the pieces there should be no problem with fitting in their original position, right?

    Why did you not just clear the mold and save the extra work?

    • @CarbonWorkshops
      @CarbonWorkshops  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From experience, this won't work with prepreg carbon fibre.

    • @teoyota
      @teoyota 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But it works works fine with infusion?

    • @CarbonWorkshops
      @CarbonWorkshops  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@teoyota prepreg is different, if you stick the carbon and need to adjust it will pull the clear coat from the mould. Also I don't think it will handle 120 deg celius

      there are special in mould coatings used in the industry. But expensive and the moulds have to be 100% flawless and ultra high goss, otherwise you never would get a finish like the end result in this video

    Why ruin the bag? Couldn't you have re-used it?

      Single use, they melt together and heat makes them brittle
